Assam State AIDS Control Society (ASACS) has released an advertisement for the recruitment of 5 Medical Officer, Counsellor, Data Manager and Staff Nurse vacancy. A walk in interview will be conducted for filling up the aforementioned posts by the State AIDS Control Society (ASACS), Khanapara, Guwahati-781022.

1. Medical Officer

No of posts: 2

Remuneration: Rs. 50,000/- per month

Educational Qualification: OST Centre: MBBS. Candidates with MD in Psychiatry / Diploma in Psychiatry Medicine will be preferred. The candidates must have valid registration with the concerned Medical Council.

FIART Centre: MBBS. Preference will be given to the candidate trained by NACO at one of the NACO designated training centres. The candidates must have valid registration with the concerned Medical Council

Age Limit: Age should not be more than 65 years as on 01/01/2021

2. Counsellor

No of posts: 1

Remuneration: Rs. 13,000/- per month

Educational Qualification: Post Graduate degree / diploma in Psychology / Social Work / Sociology/Anthropology/ Human Development / Nursing with minimum 1 year experience of working in the field of counseling in health sector, preferably training in counseling drug users and working with drug users. For people living with HIV/AIDS (PLHIV), Graduate in Psychology/Social Work/Sociology /Anthropology/ Human Development / Nursing with minimum 1 year experience of working in the field of counseling in health sector, preferably training in counseling drug users and working with drug users.

• Diploma in Computer Applications from a Govt. recognized institute.
• Candidates should be proficient to read and write in English and in local language

Age Limit: Age should not be more than 60 years as on 01/01/2021

3. Data Manager

No of posts: 1

Remuneration: Rs. 13,000/- per month

Educational Qualification: Graduate (preferably with commerce background) with Diploma in Computer Application from a recognized institute or university or “O” Level course from DOEACC.

Age Limit: Age should not be more than 60 years as on 01/01/2021

4. Staff Nurse

No of posts: 1

Remuneration: Rs. 9,000/- per month

Educational Qualification: ANM from Govt. recognized institutions. Diploma Nursing/B.Sc Nursing will be preferred. The candidates must have valid registration with the concerned Nursing Council.

Age Limit: Age should not be more than 60 years as on 01/01/2021
