Post Details of Navodaya Vidyalaya Job 2021

A) Name of the Post: PGT

Educational Qualification:

• Master Degree from a recognized University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the relevant subject.
• B.Ed. Degree. ( B. Ed degree is not required for the candidates who have undergone four years integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT or other NCTE recognized institution.)
• Proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English medium.

Desirable:

• Teaching experience in similar capacity in a recognized school.
• Experience of working in a residential school.
• Knowledge of Computer application.
• Knowledge of regional language

 

B) Name of the Post: TGT(Hindi, English, Maths, Science, Social Studies, III Language)

Educational Qualification:

• Four years integrated degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT or other NCTE recognized institution with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject as well as in the aggregate Or 50% or above marks in PG in the concerned subject from recognized Institutions. Or Bachelors Honors Degree with at least 50% marks in concerned subject/combination of subjects and also in aggregate. Candidate should have studied requisite subject(s) for at least 2 years in the 03 years degree course Or Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject/combination of subjects and also in aggregate. The candidate should have studied the requisite subjects in all three years of degree course.
• Passed the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), conducted by CBSE in accordance with the Guidelines framed by the NCTE, for the purpose. ( Ex-NVS/Superannuated Govt. School Teacher/ dependents of NVS employees who died in harness, seeking appointment on compassionate ground (in waiting for regular appointment) are exempted from having CTET qualification) (C) B.Ed. (D) Competence to teach through English & Hindi

C) Name of the Post: Art Teacher

Educational Qualification:

• Degree in Fine Arts/Crafts from a recognized University.
• Proficiency to teach through English & Hindi

Desirable Qualification:

• Knowledge of regional languages.
• Experience of working in a residential school.
• Teaching experience in similar capacity in a recognized school
• Knowledge of computer application, 
• Achievements at State/National level competitions.

 

D) Name of the Post: Physical Education Teacher (Male & Female)

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education B.P.Ed. from a recognized University.
• Proficiency to teach through English and Hindi

Desirable:

• Working experience in similar capacity in a recognized school.
• Knowledge of Regional languages.
• M.P.Ed / M.Sc, (Sports coaching) from from LNCPE, LNIPE, NSU or any National or State University.
• Achievements at State/National/International level competitions.

 

E) Name of the Post: Music Teacher

Educational Qualification: 

• Bachelor degree in music from a recognized university.
• Proficiency to teach through English and Hindi.

Desirable:

• Knowledge of regional languages
• Experience of working in a residential school.
• Teaching experience in similar capacity in a recognized school.
• Knowledge of computer application
• Achievements at State/National level competitions.

 

F) Name of the Post: Librarian

Educational Qualification: 

• University degree in Library Science from a recognized institution
• Working knowledge of English and Hindi

Desirable:

• Experience of working in a residential school
• Teaching experience in similar capacity in a recognized school.
• Knowledge of regional languages
• Knowledge of computer application.

 

G) Name of the Post: Faculty cum System Administrator

Educational Qualification(Minimum 50% marks):

•  Graduation with PGDCA (from a recognized university/ institution recognized by AICTE) OR“A” level certificate from DOEACC/ NIELT (OR)
• BCA/ B.Sc /B tech / BE in Computer Science / Information technology or Information science from a recognized university. (OR)
• MCA/Master in Computer Science/ Other Post Graduate Degree in Computer Science/ IT from a recognized university

Desirable:

• Teaching experience in similar capacity in a recognized school.
• Experience of working in a residential school
• Knowledge of Computer hardware and networking.
• Knowledge of regional languages
• Achievements in field of ICT of Self/Mentoring of students at State/ National level competition.

Salary:

• PGT: Rs. 42,250/-
• TGT, FCSA & Others: Rs. 40,625/-

Age: Upper Age Limit for all category of teachers is 50 Years as on 1st July of the year of engagement.
