IGRUA Entrance Exam 2021 for Commercial Pilot

Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi (IGRUA) invites applications for Ab-initio to Commercial Pilot License course, scheduled to commence from January 2022 onwards in FOUR batches. The eligibility criteria for General Category as well as the other reserved categories is given below.

Total Seats: 120 (GEN:48, OBC:32, SC:18 , ST:10, EWS:12)

Eligibility Criteria for IGRUA Entrance Exam for Commercial Pilot

Must have pass English with minimum 50% marks at 10+2 or equivalent.
Must have passed Maths & Phys. with minimum 50% aggregate marks at 10+2 or ,equivalent. The eligibility criteria tor SC, ST, EWS and OBC (belonging to non creamy layer) candidates is:
- Must have pass. English with minimum 45, marks at 10+2 or equivalent
- Must have passed Maths & Physics with minimum 45% aggregate marks at 10+2 or equivalent.

How to Apply for IGRUA Entrance Exam 2021 for Commercial Pilot

Candidates applying for entrance Examination in IGRUA 2021 required to apply online ONLY through the official website http://igrua.gov.in/

Before filling up Online Application, the Candidate must be ready with following documents:

Scanned image of Recent Colored Photograph of candidate (File size of 80KB (maximum) in JPEG format only)
Scanned Signature of candidate (File size of 80KB (maximum) in JPEG format only)
Email Id Mobile No.
Mark sheets Details for 10th, 12th , Scanned copy of Signatures, Photo, Credit Card / Debit Card / Internet Banking details for payment gateway

Application Fee for IGRUA Entrance Exam 2021

Non refundable application fee of Rs. 12,000/- for General, OBC and EWS candidates, to be paid either through internet banking, debit or credit cards or through Bank Challan payable at any branch of State Bank of India as per instructions for Fee Deposit. The SC & ST candidates are exempted from payment of Application Fee

Selection Criteria for Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi(IGRUA)

ONLINE Written Test, Viva/Interview and Pilot Aptitude Test in the following manner:-

a) Written Test : At allotted centres on 21 August 2021 (Saturday) .

Syllabus for IGRUA Written Test : General English, Maths, Physics, Reasoning & Current Affairs (10+2 level objective type questions only and No negative marking)
Qualifying Marks in Written Test : The cutoff marks for SC/ST/EWS/OBC candidates will be 5% less from the cut off marks secured by the last candidate in the General category.

b) Interview / Viva :

All short listed Candidates will be required to produce following documents in original as well as one photocopy of each document at the time of interview ( starting from 05 October 2021, Tuesday onwards )

Proof of Date of Birth ( such as 10th Class certificate )
10th Mark sheet
10+2 Mark sheet
Caste Certificate for SC/ST/OBC/EWS Candidates issued within last one year.
A Certificate from the competent Authority that the OBC Candidate does not belong to Creamy layer.
A Certificate from an officer not below the rank of Tehsildar that the candidate falls under EWS category.
Admit Card Downloaded for Written Test

c) Pilot Aptitude Test / Psychometric Test

Only successful candidates in Pilot Aptitude / Psychometric Test shall qualify for final selection.
No relaxation criteria will be applicable for SC/ST/EWS/OBC Candidates in Pilot Aptitude/Psychometric Test.

Training Fees for IGRUA Commercial Pilot License:

The training fee is Rs. 45 Lacs plus-Boarding -Lodging and other expenses extra.
Separate Hostels for Boys and Girls. Messing and hostel accommodation within the campus (on twin sharing basis), is provided. (Charges approximately Rs. 12,000/- per month).
