Gauhati University invites applications for the position of 1 No. Senior Project Associate (SpA), 2 Nos. project Associate-l (PA-l)and 6 Nos. Field Worker (FW) positions (Temporary) for 2 years in the DST-NMHSE funded project titled “Climate Change and Sustainability of Agricultural practices and Livelihoods in the Eastern Himalaya: Case Studies in Northeastern Region of lndia” under the guidance of Dr. Ratul Mahanta, Principal lnvestigator and Professor, Department of Economics, Gauhati University.

A) Name of the Post: Senior Project Associate (SPA)
No of posts: 1
Pay: Rs.42,000/- p.m. + HRA 16%
Educational Qualification: Ph.D in Environmental Science/Economics or Masters in Environmental Sciences/Environment Management/Economics with 4 years research Experience(NET/GATE qualified). Candidates having Knowledge in remote sensing is preferable.

B) Name of the Post: Project Associate-I (PA-I)
No of posts: 2
Pay: Rs. 31,000/- p.m. + HRA 16%
Educational Qualification: M.A./M.Sc. in Economics/Geography/Veterinary sciences/Agriculture sciences with GATE/NET.

C) Name of the Post: Field Worker (FW)
No of posts: 6
Pay: Rs.18,000/- p.m. + HRA 16%
Educational Qualification: Graduate degree in any discipline.
