Assam Police Recruitment for 35000 Police Personals

A meeting was held on 09/06/2021 with the superintendent of Police of all Districts of Assam. The meeting was chaired by Hon’ble Chief minister of Assam, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma accompanied by three Cabinet Ministers of Assam. Assam Director General of Police as well as other High level officers of Assam police was also present in the said meeting.

A vast discussion was made regarding modernization and problems of Assam police. The Meeting has decided to create 10 new commando battalions of Assam Police in the state soon. In this regard, Assam Police is also going to recruit 12,000 commando and 23,000 civil police. The Assam Police Recruitment 2021 has been announced by the DGP of Assam Police Bhaskar Jyoti Mahanta. In this Assam Police Recruitment for 35,000 police personals the 12,000 commando will be trained for special operations.

DGP Mahanta said, “Today, in a meeting with Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sharma, various internal issues including crime control measures, special branch administration, expeditious investigation, maintenance of law and order in the state were discussed. We are going to go ahead with radical reforms in the special branch of Assam Police because of chief minister Dr Sharma’s dream of decorating Assam police in a new form. ”

The DGP of Assam Police has also mentioned that from the 23,000 police personals there are few for Cyber Crime, few are for legal matters and other for necessary sections under Assam Police. There will opening of new Police station in various parts of Assam and after the completion of Assam police Recruitment 2021. The Assam Police duties will be bifurcated in two shifts day and night shifts each for 12 hours and an additional OC will be there in each Police Stations of Assam.
