Gauhati University Notification On Reopening Of Classes and Examination For UG/PG Courses

Gauhati University has issued notification on dated 7th August 2020 on its official website regarding reopening of is regular classes for final semester students under proposed Government guidelines issued by the Commissioner and Secretary of Higher Education, Assam.

The official notification from Gauhati University is mentioned below

” This is for information of all concened that Gauhati University is preparing to restart regular classes for the following programmes of study w.e.f. 01.09.2020:

P.G. 4h Semester
U.G.6th Semester
LL.B 6th Semester
BALLB, BBALLB & B.Com LLB 10h Semester

The timeline for the examinations to be followed for the above mentioned programme of study in offline mode conducted is given below:
Reopening of Hostels: From 1 September, 2020
UG examinations:From 22nd September, 2020
PG examinations:From 25th September, 2020

This matter has the reference to the proposed Govt. Guideline notified by the Commissioner & Secretary.
Higher Education, Assam for reopening of degree colleges from Ist September, 2020.

This is also to inform that the plan as chalked out is subject to changes as per directive of the UGC, if any in due course of time.
The Controller of Examinations, G.U. will publish detail notification regarding the conduct of examinations.

This has approval of the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, G.U. dated 07.08.2020.
