Essential Qualification: Matric or Class X Pass
Maximum Age: 30 years
[Relaxation as per G.O.I rules. Experience: 5 years’ experience in the trade(s)

NB.
The institute reserves the right to relax the maximum age of only such candidates, who have or are serving under contract in the specified areas at this Institute.
The person must have knowledge of local language, Assamese (both reading & writing).
In-service candidate or candidate with experience in related areas may be given an additional weightage of 20 marks. However, to claim the experience weightage, candidates will have to produce experience certificate from his/ her employer clearly specifying the nature of work, the tenure of experience and his/her performance grading (Outstanding / Excellent / Very good / Good/Satisfactory). In the event of no specific performance grading in the experience certificate, mark equivalent to satisfactory grading will be taken into account.
The institute reserves the right of keeping a panel of suitable candidates to be filled in future vacancy, if any, and the number
of posts may vary accordingly. Interested candidate should apply in hardcopy and submit filled in application to reach Registrar, IASST by 24th Feb, 2020. The trade test of the applicants will be conducted on 27th Feb. 2020.
