Applications in standard format along with testimonials are invited from intending candidates for engagement as Field Officer, Disaster Management, Doomdooma Rev. Circle in Tinsukia District. The applicant will have to appear for a written test/ computer test/interview at the venue, date and time as decided and directed by the Authority at their own cost. No TA/DA shall be paid for the purpose.Candidates not having the requisite qualifications are liable to be summarily rejected. The Authority also reserves the right to accept or reject any application without assigning any reason thereof.

Criteria for the post of Field Officer:
Education Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Science or with Statistics, Geography, Environment Science or Geology as a subject or diploma in Civil Engineering or Architecture from a Recognized University/ Institution. Computer skills specially MS Word/ Excel/ Power Point/Internet Uses/ Emails Preference will be given to candidates having done BCA or equivalent course on Computer Science.

Age: The Candidate should not be below 21 years and above 35 years as on 1st January 2020, Relaxation of age in case of SC & ST candidates as per Govt. rules. Period of Engagement: The contract will initially be for a period of one year subject to renewal on the basis of performance appraisal.

Remuneration: Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) per month.

Duties and Responsibilities: To assist the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) & Circle Officer in various Disaster Management activities and to perform any other duties & responsibilities assigned to him/her by Assam State Disaster Management Authority from time to time.
