The much awaited Result of NRC  (National Register of Citizens) is scheduled to be declared on 31st August 2019 and the NRC officials are working day and night for giving a correct and error free NRC. As per news offline mode is available to check NrC Assam Final result 2019 list and the process of printing of the final NRC list has started and the hard copies of it would be made available in all the 2,500 NRC Seva Kendras (NSK), 157 Circle offices and 33 offices of the Deputy Commissioners. The hard copies consisting names of only the persons whose names were included in the NRC after being excluded from the draft NRC would be made available. official sources said “The persons, whose names appeared in the final draft of the NRC and who were not called for any verification after-wards need not to worry and their names will be automatically included in the NRC”.

NRC ASSAM  TOP TEN IMPORTANT EVENTS FROM 2013 TO 2019

NRC Assam Final Result 2019 will be available online also. As per the official sources the lists of exclusions would not be published and it would be available online only to the concerned persons. The deputy commissioners and circle officers are carrying out the quality checks.

1. The Nrc process was started in Assam in 2019 and Office of the State NRC Coordinator was set up in 2013.
2. The legacy data was first published in February 2015 , whereas the process of updating the NRC under the supervision of the Supreme Court was started in same year.
3. The applications from the citizens were received from March to August that year across Assam through offline NSK’s and online Official Nrc portal and around 3.29 crore people have applied for inclusion of names in the NRC as per sources.
4. After receiving such a large volume of applications , the field verification started from September 2015, which was followed by the family tree verification of the applicants. The family tree verification was proved to be most important event as most of the cases of irregularities, fraudulent, forged documents were detected during this process.
5. Finally the first ever Nrc part draft was published on the midnight of December 31, 2017
6. The NrC Assam draft list was published on 30^th June 2018.  A total of 40,07,707  applicant names were omitted from the list.
7. NrC Assam has started the process of receiving NRC Assam Claims and Hearings, from 25^th September. More than two lakh objections were filed and most surprisingly around 4 lakh people, whose names were not included in the NRC, did not file Claims.
8. After the process of receiving claims and objections a second draft NRC was also published excluding names of 1,02,462  people, whose names were earlier included in the draft. The final total of ineligible persons increased to 41,10,169 after publication of ASSAM NRC 2nd LIST.
9. Now after a duration of almost 6 years, finally as per the Hon’ble Supreme Court’s order the final NRC Assam result 2019 is going to be published on 31^st August.
10. As per Government directions those whose name will be absent in the NRC Assam Final List will get another chance to prove their citizenship. For details kindly visit your nearest Foreigners Tribunals Office.
