Dr B Borooah Cancer Institute, Guwahati is a Grant-in-Aid Institute of Department of Atomic Energy, Govt. of India and a unit of Tata Memorial Centre (Mumbai). It is a 260 bedded hospital with state-of-the art facility for treatment of cancer. The Institute also conducts various academic courses and training programme. Approximately 12,000 new cancer patients and 80,000 old cancer patients visit the Institute every year. DETAILS OF POSTS:
- Staff Nurse
Eligibility Criteria- B.Sc. Nursing with minimum 1 year of Nursing Experience. Preference will be given to candidate having Oncology Nursing experience
Salary (consolidated)- Rs.17,790 per month*

2. ICU Technician
Eligibility Criteria-B.Sc with 55% marks and one year certificate/ diploma course in ICU / Respiratory Therapy Technology. One year work experience as ICU Technician is desirable or Bachelor degree in Respiratory Therapy / or Equivalent with minimum 55% marks in bachelor degree. One year work experience as ICU Technician is desirable OR, B.Sc. with 55% marks and one year work experience as ICU Technician in a reputed hospital is mandatory.
Salary (consolidated)- Rs.15,180 per month*

3. Physiotherapist
Eligibility Criteria- HS Science with Diploma / Degree in Physiotherapy of not less than 3 years duration from a recognized board / university / Institute. Minimum 2 years experience in physiotherapy in a recognized hospital / Institute / its equivalent.

4. Speech and Swallowing Therapist
Eligibility Criteria- Hold a recognised qualification in Speech and Language Therapy and registered with the Speech and Language Therapy Registration Board / Council. Experience of working with adults with acquired communication and swallowing difficulties in an acute hospital setting is desirable.

6. Clinical Coordinator
Eligibility Criteria- Science Graduate with one year working experience in health related institution. Candidate must have biology as one subject in Class-XII standard.
Salary (consolidated)- Rs. 10,000/- per month*
No. of post- 1
*Note : 10% annual increment on salary after satisfactory completion of one year of continuous service.
Age : Below 30 years.
