Applications are invited by North East Regional Institute of Education (NERIE), Umiam in prescribed application for the NCERT CEE 2019 (Common Entrance Examination 2019) for admission in to regular full time 2 years B. Ed course from eligible candidates belonging to eight North East States viz., Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura.

VACANCY:

Total intake of candidates is 50. There is a state quota for each of the states and reservation is done as per the Government of India norms.

Eligibility :

Candidate with at least 50% marks in Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s Degree in Science/ Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with Science or Mathematics or in Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s Degree in Social Sciences/ Humanities are eligible for admission to the programme (relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ST/PH candidates).

Eligibility Criteria of States:

Select the appropriate State/ UT against which you are seeking admission. As proof of eligibility of State/ UT for admission, the candidate has to produce any one of the following documents.

  1. Evidence of having passed the qualifying examination from the State/UT as given in the advertisement.
  2. In the case of legal guardian/parents is an employee of state central govt./Govt. of India undertaking/Autonomous bodies the latest certificate of the place of posting in the State/UT.
  3. A domicile certificate from the competent authority.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through official website www.cee.ncert.gov.in from 12-04-2019 to 15-05-2019.

The applications are to be sent on-line on the common format available on the website (www.cee.ncert.gov.in). NERIE, Umiam is offering only the 2 years B. Ed Course. Admission would be done through Common Entrance Exam to be held at various centers. Candidates may be given three options for the examination center.
