Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalya Recruitment 2019 – Appointment on contract basis for the post of all PGTs, TGTs, Misc. Teacher including Librarian and Staff Nurse will be made on marks basis and on that effect panel will be prepared as per guidelines given in the official advertisement Annexure-I. No Viva-voice will be conducted for the appointment of TGTs, Misc. Teachers including Librarian and Staff Nurse on contract basis, whereas for PGTs Viva-voice will be conducted and consider for the selection.

Appointment will be made on trial basis for 10 days initially and if their services are found satisfactory, the contract period will be extended up to 10 months or till such a time the regular incumbent joins against the vacant post, whichever is earlier. In case the regular incumbent joins during contract period, one month salary to the contractual staff (Teaching and non-teaching staff) will not be paid. Candidates will report and submit their filled-up applications in prescribed format along with copies of testimonials for all categories of Teaching and non-Teaching staff at the venue on the specified dates for the verification of records.

Important Points for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalya Recruitment 2019:

• The Contract appointment will be purely on temporary basis up to 30.04.2020 or till joining of regular incumbent whichever is earlier.
• Appointment on contract basis will be made on the basis of career marks in case of TGTs and Music Teachers and Staff Nurse. Certificate verification will be made at the venue as per the details mentioned above. For the post of PGTs, viva-voce will be held as per schedule.
• No Viva-voce will be conducted for appointment of TGTs, Misc. Category of teachers and Staff Nurse. Panel of the qualified candidates will be prepared on marks basis as per the guidelines given in Annexure-I.
• Appointment of contractual staff on trial basis will be made for 10 initially and if their services are found satisfactory, the contract period will be extended up to 30.04.2020 or till such a time the regular incumbent joins against the vacant post, whichever is earlier.
• In case the regular incumbent joins during contract period, one month remuneration will not be paid to the contractual staff.
• Remuneration to the contractual staff are mentioned below:
  • PGTs – Rs. 32,500/- PM.
  • TGTs- Rs. 31,250/- PM.
  • Misc. Category Teachers and Librarian – Rs. 31,250/- PM.
  • Vocational (Hospitality & Tourism) Teacher – Rs. 32,500/- PM.
  • Staff Nurse – Rs. 20,000/- PM.
• The candidates applying for TGTs must be CTET/TET qualified(conducted by CBSE/State Government)
• Candidates should report at the venue for verification of documents/viva-voce for PGT in person as per the schedule at 9.00 am with original certificates, mark sheets and with a set of self-attested Photostat copies of the same, experience certificate and one recent passport size photograph to be pasted in the bio-data form and identifications proof like Voter ID, Aadhaar Card or identity card issued by Govt. Schools and college, etc.

• No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for attending walk-in-interview/verification of documents.
• Candidates are to be physically present at the venue for verification of documents, failing which the application of the candidates, if any will be rejected.
• The offer of appointment on contract basis will be purely on temporary basis and can be terminated at any time with our assigning any reason. The candidates will be offered contract appointment will have to execute a Contract Agreement on Rs. 50/-(Rupees fifty only) Non Judicial Stamp on the prescribed format of contract agreement to the Principal of the respective JNVs
