CENTRAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY CIT KOKRAJHAR ADMISSION NOTICE 2019-20 FOR B TECH, DIPLOMA, B DESIGN COURSES

CENTRAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY CIT KOKRAJHAR has released notification for admission into Diploma , B.Tech., B.Des courses. The candidates will be selected through CIT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION 2019 (CITEE-2019, CITDEE-2019, CITBDAT-2019 & CITLET-2019).

PROGRAMMES OFFERED BY THE INSTITUTE

Currently the institute offers the following programmes:

(i) Diploma (3 years) in Electronics and Telecommunications, Computer Science , Control and Instrumentation Engineering, Food Processing Technology, Construction Technology and Multimedia Technology.

(ii) B.Tech. (4 years) in Electronics and Communications Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Food Engineering and Technology, Civil Engineering.

(iii) B. Des. (4 years bachelor degree in Design).

HOW TO APPLY:

CIT Entrance Examination -2019 shall be conducted in two sessions on the same day. In the morning session entrance examination would be for CITDEE (B.Tech. Direct) and CITLET (B.Tech Lateral) and in the afternoon session entrance examination would be for CITEE (Diploma) and CITBDAT (B. Des.). Hence, an eligible candidate applying for CITDEE can also apply for CITBDAT or CITEE.

OFFLINE MODE:

The application form should be properly filled in original and submitted to ‘THE MEMBER SECRETARY, ADMISSION COMMITTEE, CIT, KOKRAJHAR, BTAD, ASSAM-783370”, by registered/speed/general post on or before 30th April, 2019. However, the duly filled application form may also be submitted to the ÁDMISSION CELL,
CIT, KOKRAJHAR by hand on or before the last date. Application forms received or submitted after the last date shall be rejected. Application form cum Information brochure-2019 can be obtained from the CIT, Kokrajhar by paying Rs 1200/- (Rupees one thousand two hundred only) if applying for Entry Scheme between 1 to 10 for GEN/OBC candidates and Rs 600/- (Rupees six hundred only) for Entry Scheme between 1 to 10 (Refer page no. 66) for SC/ST/PWD. Application fees of Rs 1800/- (Rupees one thousand eight hundred) and Rs 900/- (Rupees nine hundred only) for Entry Schemes 11 & 12 (Refer page no. 66) for Gen/OBC and SC/ST/PWD candidates respectively.

ONLINE MODE:

For Online Mode, candidates may fill the application form through our online portal by visiting the website: http://admission.cit.ac.in or www.cit.ac.in  Candidates need to print and retain a hard copy of the online application form for own reference.

Entrance examination fees payment:

Candidates who apply online through the CIT website: www.cit.ac.in have to pay Rs.1200/-(one thousands two hundred only) for GEN/OBC and Rs.600/- (six hundred only) for SC/ST/PWD candidates for single entry scheme (e.g. B. Tech. (Direct/Lateral/Vertical only or Diploma only or B. Des only). Any candidate applying for B.Tech + B. Des (Entry Scheme– Code no. 11) and B.Tech + Diploma (Entry Scheme– Code no. 12) simultaneously will have to pay Rs. 1800/- (one thousand eight hundred only) for Gen/OBC candidates and Rs 900/- (nine hundred only) for SC/ST/PWD candidates. Candidates who apply offline application fees is same as above. The application fees is not refundable.

Note:

The candidates should not forget to bring the original and photo copies of all the relevant certificates during the day of counseling. At the time of counseling and admission the selected candidates must provide the following certificates:
1. Age proof certificate
2. Mark sheet of HSLC or equivalent
3. Mark Sheets of 10+2 or equivalent.
4. Overall Mark Sheet of Diploma/B.Sc.(for lateral entry candidates)
5. Permanent Residential Certificate (PRC)
6. Caste Certificate (in case of SC/ST/OBC)
7. Person with disabilities (PWD) Certificate (if applicable)
8. Conduct/Character Certificate from the institution last attended
9. Gap Certificate (if applicable)
10. Migration Certificate in original
11. Registration Card of HSSLC (10+2)
The certificates listed from (1) to (11) are compulsory for counseling for confirming admission in CIT, Kokrajhar.
