Assam Police Radio Organisation Sub Inspector Recruitment – Applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up of 68 existing vacancies in the rank of Sub-Inspector (SI) of Police (Communication) in Assam Police Radio Organisation(APRO) in the pay scale of Rs.14000- 49000 (Pay Band No.2) plus Rs. 8700 Grade pay plus other allowances as admissible under the rules.

Required Qualification:
- B.Sc. (Electronics Science/ IT/ Computer Science) (10+2+3 duration) OR
- 3-year Diploma from State Polytechnic in Electronics and Tele Communication, or Electronics or Information Technology, or Instrumentation or Computer Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent with 2 years work experience in the field of Electronics, Telecom, IT or allied environment. OR
- 3-year Diploma from State Polytechnic in Electronics and Tele Communication, or Electronics or Information Technology, or Instrumentation or Computer Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent and 2 years additional course/courses in Telecommunication /IT /Computer Science/ Computer Engineering or equivalent.
Age: Candidate should not be more than 24 years and less than 20 years of age as on 1st January 2019. (Candidate must be born on or before 01-01-1999 and on or after 01-01-1995).
- Relaxation:
- 5 (five) years in respect of candidates belonging to SC, ST (P) and ST (H).
- 3 (three) years in respect of candidates belonging to OBC/MOBC.
- 3 years in respect of trained Home Guard who have served for a period of 3 years or more

How to Apply For Assam Police Radio Organisation Sub Inspector Recruitment:
- Applications must be submitted online through Assam Police / SLPRB website (police.assam.gov.in / slprbassam.in).
- No other forms of application will be entertained.
- Candidates will be required to upload scanned copies of the documents mentioned in the official notification.
- The online applications will be received with effect from 01-02-2019 and the last date of receiving application will be 28-02-2019
Selection Process For APRO SI Recruitment 2019:
Candidates whose applications are found correct in all respects will be called for a written test. The date and venue (s) of the written test will be intimated in due course. The Chairman reserves the right to change the venue (s) of the test and no representation etc. will be entertained in this regard. Before entering the examination center, biometrics of each candidate will be done.
The written test will be of 100 marks and will be completely OMR based. There will be 100 questions and each question will be of 1 (one) mark. There will be negative marking of ½ mark for each wrong answer. The questions will be set in three parts (i) Logical reasoning, aptitude, comprehension (ii) Matters relating to History and Culture of Assam and India and (iii) General Knowledge.
Candidates will use black or dark blue ball pen to answer the OMR based answer sheets. Duration of the Written Test will be of 3 (three) hours.
After qualifying the written test candidates will be called for Physical fitness test and Medical Test
