Directorate of Agriculture, BTC Technical Assistant and District Level Consultant Recruitment – An Walk-in-Interview will be conducted in the office of the Directorate of Agriculture, BTC, Kokrajhar on 10th January 2019 at 12:00 Noon onwards for engagement of the following post on contractual basis at a consolidated monthly salary and other allowances against the existing vacancy in Agriculture department of BTAD districts e.g. Kokrajhar, Chirang,Baksa and Udalguri under Central Sector Scheme, NFSM. The appointment will be initially for a period of 6 months which may likely to extend for further period, depending upon the satisfactory performance of the candidate.

Post Details:

i) Name of the Post: District Level Consultant

Number of Posts: 04

Remuneration: Rs. 30000/- per month plus conveyance allowance & daily allowance admissible nape/ NFSM norms.

Required Eligibility:

• Basic degree in Agriculture with master degree in Agronomy /Agri Extension /Soil Science/ Plant Protection/ Crop Improvement.
• At least 10 years of field experience in crop production / Extension.

ii) Name of the Post: Technical Assistant 

Number of Posts: 05

Remuneration: Rs. 20000/- per month plus conveyance allowance & daily allowance admissible nape/ NFSM norms.

Required Eligibility:

• A basic degree in Agriculture with computer skill. In case of non-availability of Agticulture raduates, candidate with basic degrees in life science may be considered.
• Person with experience of research and extension will be given preference
