Post wise Required qualification and Experience Details:

Chemist Trainee	M.Sc. (Chemistry) preferably in Analytical Chemistry in First Class with 60% marks (Full Time course) from a recognized Indian University/ Institute	Should have minimum one year relevant post qualification work experience/one year post qualification apprenticeship training (in a relevant field) in a Refining/ Petroleum/ Power/ Lube Petrochemical / Fertilizer /Chemical Industry, of repute
Operator Trainee	First Class Diploma in Chemical Engineering/ Technology (Full time course approved by AICTE with 60% marks from a recognized Indian University/ Institute	Should have minimum 5 years’ post qualification experience in operation process in a large petrochemical plant or a major petrochemical unit within a petroleum, refinery. The period of apprenticeship training shall also be considered against experience,
General Workman-B (Trainee) – CHEMICAL	First Class Diploma in Chemical Engineering/ Technology (Full time course approved by AICTE) with 60% marks from a recognized Indian University/ Institute.	Should have minimum one year relevant post qualification work experience/one year post qualification apprenticeship training (in a relevant field) under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 in a Refining/ Petroleum/ Power/ Lube Petrochemical/ Fertilizer Industry, of repute.
General Workman-B (Trainee) – MECHANICAL	First Class Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Full time course approved by AICTE) with 60% marks from a recognized Indian University/ Institute	Should have minimum one year relevant post qualification work experience 1 one year post qualification apprenticeship training (in a relevant field) under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 in a Refining/ Petroleum/ Power/ Lube Petrochemical/ Fertilizer/ Engineering Industry, of repute.
General Workman -B (Trainee) – ELECTRICAL	First Class Diploma in Electrical/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering (Full time course approved by AICTE) with 60% marks from a recognized Indian University/ Institute
General workman- (Trainee) – INSTRUMENTATION	First Class Diploma in Instrument Technology OR Instrumentation & Control OR Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering (Full time course approved by AIME) with 60% marks from a recognized Indian University/ Institute.

Selection Methodology:

Two stage methodology comprising following tests-

Stage 1: Shortlisted candidates based on the merit order percentage marks of Post Graduation/Diploma in Engineering will be called for Written Test which will be held at Kochi.
Stage 2: Candidates qualifying in the written test will be called for Skill Test which will be of ‘qualifying nature’ only.
