APDCL Recruitment For AAO, Field Assistant, Driver, Sahayak and Mali – Applications are invited from candidates (citizen of India and domicile of Assam) having requisite qualifications for appointment in APDCL, AEGCL & APGCL. APDCL Recruitment 2018-2019 Assam for the post of AAO (Assistant Accounts Officer), Office cum Field Assistant, Light Vehicle Driver, Sahayak and Mali details is as given below.

Post Details of APDCL Recruitment 2018 Assam For AAO, Field Assistant, Driver, Sahayak and Mali

i) Name of the Post: AAO (Assistant Accounts Officer)

Number of Posts: 60

Scale of Pay: Rs. 16,800 — 60,500/- with Grade Pay 8,700/-

Required Eligibility: Bachelor Degree in Arts, Science or Commerce from a recognized University with minimum 55% marks or its equivalent in B.Com in aggregate or 55% marks in Honors/Major subject (B.Com) or minimum 55% aggregate marks or its equivalent for Arts or Science graduate having Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects or 55% marks or its equivalent in Mathematics/Statistics as Honors (BA/B.Sc.)

A candidate must possess proficiency in computer application and having diploma certificate in computer application with minimum duration of 3 (three) months

Job Profile: Responsible for accounting, budgeting, compilation, billing, auditing, GAD related work
and any other work allotted by the controlling officer from time to time.

Age: 21 to 44 years as on 01.01.2018. (Relaxation as per the govt rule)

ii) Name of the Post: Office cum Field Assistant

Number of Posts: 1000

Scale of Pay: Rs. 16,800 — 60,500/- with Grade Pay 5,800/-

Required Eligibility:

Minimal HSSLC or equivalent examination recognized by Govt
A candidate must possess proficiency in computer application and having diploma certificate in computer application with minimum duration of 3 (three) months.

Job Profile: Responsible for collecting meter readings, preparing & delivering bills, typing, data entering, store keeping, assisting any works related to Personnel, Establishment, Training, Miscellaneous matters etc. of the consumers as well as employees of field & corporate office and any other work allotted by the controlling officer from time to time.

Age: 18 to 44 years as on 01.01.2018. (Relaxation as per the govt rule)

iii) Name of the Post: Light Vehicle Driver

Number of Posts: 25

Scale of Pay: Rs. 12,400 — 47,400/- with Grade Pay 5,500/-

Required Eligibility:

HSLC or equivalent examination recognized by Govt., must have at least 2 (two) years professional driving licence and must be proficient in traffic rules & driving LMV/HMV.

Job Profile: Cleaning of allotted vehicle. Driving of allotted vehicles as per the requirement and satisfaction of the Controlling officers.

APDCL sahayak recruitment 2018 Assam or APDCL sahayak post 2018

iv) Name of the Post: Sahayak

Number of Posts: 872

Scale of Pay: Rs. 12,400 — 47,400/- with Grade Pay 4,500/-

Required Eligibility:

For APDCL: HSLC or equivalent with ITI in the trade of Wireman/Electrician from Govt. of Assam approved Institute.
For AEGCL: HSLC or equivalent with ITI in the trade of Electrician/Fitter from Govt. of Assam approved Institute.
For APGCL: HSLC or equivalent with ITI in the trade of Wireman/Electrician/Fitter/Welder/Machinist, from Govt. of Assam approved Institute.

Job Profile: They may be deployed to assist in various works in Substations/Distribution and Transmission Lines/Generating Stations for electrical/mechanical/civil works etc. and any other work allotted by the controlling officer from time to time

Age: 18 to 44 years as on 01.01.2018. (Relaxation as per the govt rule)

v) Name of the Post: Mali

Number of Posts: 2

Scale of Pay: Rs. 12,400 — 47,400/- with Grade Pay 4,500/-

Required Eligibility:

Passed Class VIII examination from School, recognized by Govt.
Experience: Contractual workers under direct employment of APDCL/AEGCL/APGCL, and any other power sector PSU, engaged in gardening services & who have rendered service for not less than a minimum period of 5 (five) years as on 01.01.2018, on the condition that the concerned Head of the establishment/Controlling authority not below the rank of CEO/DGM/SE, would certify the eligibility of 5 (five) years or 1780 days of engagement in APDCL/AEGCL/APGCL, in last 7(seven) years.

Job Profile: Maintenance of the Company’s Gardens and allied activities as per the requirement of the Company.

Age: 18 to 52 years as on 01.01.2018.

Eligible and interested candidates are required to apply through online mode only in the “Career” section of APDCL website i.e., www.apdcl.org. No other means/mode of application shall be accepted. For detailed advertisement, visit www.apdcl.org & for any queries related to online application, candidates may send their queries to [email protected].

Step1: New user Registration

For Registration, click the ‘Register Now’ option. Here the candidate has to enter Mandatory fields like: Post Applied for, Preferred Company, User ID (Mobile No) & Password.
Please choose the mandatory fields correctly. Candidates will not be allowed to change these values once the registration is completed.
Please provide valid Mobile Number (User Id) at the time of registration. Verification OTP will be sent to the Mobile Number provided at the time of registration. Please note that the OTP sent will be valid only for 30 (thirty) minutes.
All communications will be made primarily through the registered mobile number.
Password should be of minimum of 8 (eight) characters.
After successful registration, Candidates are advised to note down their user ID and password which will be required to login to the system for completing the online recruitment application.
Before applying online, the candidates should keep ready soft copy of scanned image of the latest passport size photograph (Size minimum of 20 KB and maximum of 100KB with Resolution minimum of 200 x 200 Pixels and maximum of 250 x 250 Pixels) and scanned signature (Size minimum of 10 KB and maximum of 100 KB with Resolution minimum of 200x 40 Pixels and maximum of 250 x 60 Pixels), both in .jpg/.jpeg/.png format only for uploading while applying online.
In case the candidate forgets the Password, he/she can click on “Forgot Password?” option to reset the password after providing requisite details.

Step 2: Online Application

After successful registration, candidates are advised to login by entering their user ID (mobile No.) and password in the login page.
Candidates are advised to fill up all the Mandatory (*) fields.
The candidate should enter his/her full name as per valid ID proof. The documents that are considered to be a valid ID proof are: Mark sheet/Pass Certificate from Govt. recognized school/college, PAN Card, Passport, Bank Passbook, Driving License, Voter ID, Aadhar Card & College ID Card.
After entering all the details click ‘Save and Next’.
Candidates must select the “Declaration” Check box to “Finish” the online application.
Once the candidate clicks on the “Finish” button in the Application Form Preview, the candidates cannot make any changes in the Application Form.

Step 3: Payment

Upon final submission of the Application Form, the candidate will be able to pay the Application Fee.
PWD candidates are exempted from paying the fee. They may directly download the Application form
Upon successful payment of the Application Fee only, the Registration Number will be generated and the candidate will be able to view/print the Final Application Form and Payment Receipt.
However, in case of “Failure” transaction,
- If Real-time failure occurs at bank’s end, the respective bank will refund the amount paid by the candidate to the account from where it has been debited.
- If failure occurs due to broken transaction at recruiter’s end, the amount paid by the candidate will be updated in the recruiter’s database within 3 (three) working days from the date of payment and the payment receipt will be made available in the candidate’s portal.

Application Fee (Non Refundable):

Rs. 500.00 (Rupees Five Hundred only) for General/OBC/MOBC candidates and
Rs. 250.00 (Rupees Two Hundred Fifty only) for SC/ST candidates.
Application fees are exempted for PWD candidates. Candidate has to pay the application fee through online mode only by using Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card.

Selection Procedure For APDCL Recruitment 2018:

The candidates will have to appear in the written test (except Mali) to be notified in due course.
The written test of 2 (two) hours for all the posts mentioned above may be conducted on the same date.
The written test shall contain 1 (one) paper of 100 marks with Question Pattern of Objective type with Multiple Choices.
The candidates selected through written test will be called for Document Verification/Physical Efficiency Test/Practical Test.
For the post of Mali, only Practical Test (8 Hours) of 100 marks will be conducted.

The questions will be of Objective type with multiple choices.
Each question will carry 1 (one) mark for correct answer.
There will be negative marking of 0.25 (one fourth) marks for wrong answer against each question.
