ELIGIBILITY :

1) The candidates for both the posts must be Indian Citizens.

2) The candidates for both the posts must read upto Class-Eight.

3) Candidates applying for the post of DRIVER must possess a valid Driving Licence issued by the competent authority and must have at least 3 (three) years of driving experience.

4) The candidates must not be less than 18 years and more than 44 years of age as on the date of application. Relaxation of age will however be given as per Govt. Rule

HOW TO APPLY :

1) Eligible candidates will have to apply for any one of the above two posts in Standard Form of Application (published in the Gazette Part IX of Govt. of Assam) and must submit to “The District & Sessions Judge, Karbi Anglong, Agriculture Colony, Diphu, Karbi Anglong- 782 460”.

2) The application must be accompanied with the following :-

(a) Two recent colour-passport size photograph with name on reverse side,

(b) One Self-addressed Envelope affixing postage stamp of Rs. 5 thereon,

(d) Mobile Nos. written on the top of the Standard Form in RED INK.

(e) Candidates already in govt. service must apply through proper channel.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:

The candidates for both the posts will have to appear an Interview (Viva-Voce) at their own expense. The selection will be made purely on merit basis. The candidates for the post of DRIVER will have to appear two Tests namely Viva-Voce (45 marks) and Driving Test (5 marks). The candidates for the post of Peon will have to appear Viva-Voce having 30 marks. Canvassing directly or indirectly by any candidate will lead to cancellation of his/her candidature. The appointing authority reserves the right to reject over-qualified candidates in consideration of the number of applications received.

List of sorted-out candidates and Date of Interview will be uploaded in the official website “services.ecourts.gov.in” (District Courts-Karbi Anglong) on 17/07/ 2018. In the event of non receipt of Calling Letters by the fisted candidates through post, Duplicate Calling Letters will be issued to them. In such cases, the candidates are requested to approach the Sheristadar ( Mobile No. 70028 14121) of this Office on or before the date of Interview.
