• To conduct a study regarding starting of a seaplane service to the river island Majuli on the Guwahati-Kaziranga-Majuli route, Airport Authority of India , SpiceJet and other respective departments visited the island.

• A meeting was organised at Bokakhat to study the feasibility of flying amphibian aircraft near Kaziranga to attract tourist coming to Kaziranga National Park.
• In collaboration with the Indian Food Banking Network (IFBN), Rotary Club of Silchar to open a permanent food bank at Silchar. The proposed food bank is to be the 14th across the country and first of its kind in the entire North East.
