National Institute for Locomotor Disabilities (Divyangjan) Recruitment -Applications are invited from eligible Indian Citizens to fill up the following vacant posts on Contract Basis for Composite Regional Centre-Tripura under the administrative control of NILD, Kolkata. Appointment will be on contract basis on consolidated pay initially for six months & will be renewed based on the performance of the employee & subject to extension of the project by the Ministry.

i) Name of Post- Director
No of Post– 01 Post
Age Limit- 50 years
Qualification/ Experience- Postgraduate Degree/Diploma of two years full time course in any field of rehabilitation for Persons with Disabilities recognized by RCI/MCI.
Experience- 08 years experience in the field of rehabilitation for PwDs, Administrative experience is preferable. Experience is relaxable for deserving candidates where the selection committee so decides. “Relaxable as per Govt. rules as admissible and for otherwise exceptionally qualified and experienced candidates”.
Desirable- Ph.D. in related field of rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities.
ii) Name of Post- Assistant Professor (Medical P&R)
No of Post- 01 Post
Age Limit- 45 years
Qualification/ Experience- MBBS with PG Degree/Diploma (full time course) from a MCI recognized Institute.
Experience- Minimum 05 years experience in teaching or research in field of rehabilitation.
Desirable- Ph.D. in related field of rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities
iii) Name of Post- Assistant Professor (Speech Pathology)
No of Post- 01 Post
Age Limit- 45 years
Qualification/ Experience-Post Graduate Degree (Full time course) in Speech & Hearing (Recognized by RCI).
Experience- Minimum 05 years of experience in teaching/research in field of rehabilitation.
Desirable- Ph.D. in related field of rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities.
iv) Name of Post- Assistant Professor (Clinical Psychology)
No of Post- 01 Post
Age Limit- 45 years
Qualification/ Experience:-M. Phil in Clinical or Rehabilitation Psychology (full time
course) from a RCI recognized Institute.
Experience:- Minimum 05 years experience in teaching/research in the field of rehabilitation
Desirable:- Ph.D. in rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities.
v) Name of Post- Assistant Professor (Special Education)
No of Post- 01 Post
Age Limit– 45 years
Qualification/ Experience:-Master Degree with M. Ed (Special Education) in any category (full time course) from a RCI recognized Institute with minimum of 55% marks.
Experience:- Minimum 05 years of experience in teaching/research in the field of rehabilitation.
Desirable:- Ph.D. in rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities.
vi) Name of Post- Lecturer (Physiotherapy)

Age Limit- 35 years
Qualification/ Experience- Master in Physiotherapy from a recognized Institute.
Experience- Minimum 03 years of experience in teaching/research in the field of rehabilitation.
vii) Name of Post- Special Educator (V.I.)

Age Limit- 35 years
Qualification/ Experience:-Degree in Special Education (V.I.).
Experience:- Minimum 5 years experience in Teaching and training in the related field.
viii) Name of Post- Vocational Instructors

Age Limit- 30 years
Qualification/ Experience- SSC & Diploma in Vocational Training from a reputed training Institute in related field including 02 years experience in Organizing conducting vocational training programmes.
ix) Name of Post- Workshop Supervisor Cum Store Keeper

Age Limit- 30 years
Qualification/ Experience- 10+2 or equivalent. Minimum 5 years experience in the concerned area as store Keeper.
x) Name of Post- Clinical Assistant (H.I.)

Qualification/ Experience- B.Sc. (Sp. & Hg) from a recognized Institution/ University with 02 years experience as Clinician or Research Assistant.
xi) Name of Post- Clinical Assistant (M.R.)

Qualification/ Experience:-BRS (MR) or equivalent degree from a recognized Institution/University. Minimum 2 years experience as Clinician or Research Assistant.
