• The London sitting of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Working Group-II agreed to rename the Unicodes attached to the Assamese script from its present Bengali script to Bangla-Assamese script

• ‘Go to Village’ mission of Manipur Government’s, launched on 1^st May so far has benefited 1,73,327 beneficiaries out of the total 2,40,602 enrolled for various schemes of govt.
