PHE Department Recruitment 2018 For Various Posts – Public Health Engineering Department, Government of Assam with assistance from the World Bank is currently engaged in implementation and sustainable maintenance of Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Project in seven districts of Jorhat, Kamrup (M), Hailakandi, Bongaigaon, Sivsagar and Morigaon and Sonitpur , Assam.

Applications to fill up various vacant positions, in prescribed format as per Annexure A along with all relevant self-attested testimonials are invited from eligible candidates for the under noted contractual positions so as to reach this office latest by 8^th June, 2018.

003	Sanitation Specialist	Master degree in engineering, social science, environmental science, water and sanitation, or a related field; 3 years of professional development experience in the WASH sector, and significant project management experience; Experience in implementing. designing. or coordinating WASH in rural community _; Familiarity with community-based sanitation programs, and with a diversity of latrine designs for rural communities: Knowledge of SLWM technology options and experience in implementing SLWM activities in rural areas Exceptional degree of integrity, judgment and tact in handling the most sensitive, diverse and confidential material. 004	Finance Specialist	MCOM/MBA(Firiance)/CA/ICWA or equivalent Minimum 3 year of relevant working experience in budgeting, Accounting, financial management for large scale programmes/projects etc Experience of working in Government programmes or externally aided projects preferred. 005	Community and Communication on Development Specialist	Graduate/ Post Graduate Degree in Social Science, Social welfare/ Rural Development. 3 years of relevant experience with multi sectoral development agencies// NGOs / Consultants / Government Organizations in participatory development approaches. Prior exposure to development communications essential. Understanding of decentralization principles and community engagement process. Understanding of sector institutions at district, block and village levels. Exceptional degree of integrity, judgment and tact in handling the most sensitive, diverse and confidential material. 006	LDA – Accounts	Graduate in Commerce from a recognized Institute Minimum 2 years of relevant post qualification experience in budgeting. financial management. accounts and audit Candidates working in similar capacity in Government projects/PSU/Externally aided projects will be given preference Experience of working with Tally software. Sound knowledge of Government Accounting, Income Tax. VAT and other Taxation matters. Exceptional degree of integrity, judgment and tact in handling the most sensitive, diverse and confidential material. Must be computer literate and should have knowledge MS-Office, Internet. e-mail etc. Strong communication skills in English, Hindi and Local Language.	1 (One) for State Project Management Unit office in Guwahati	Rs. 25,000 per month (Inclusive all incentives)
007	MIS Assistant	Graduate in any stream from recognized institute Minimum 1 year of relevant post qualification experience in HH survey, data entry, MIS applications, data management etc The applicant has to be well conversed with MS-office preferably in MS-excel and MS-access, MS-word, MS-power point etc. Diploma in Computer application and diploma in computer typing is desirable Strong communication skills in English, Hindi and Local Language, incentives	I (DPMU Jorhat) all	Rs. 16,000 per month (Inclusive all incentives)

PHE Department Recruitment 2018 For Various Posts Important Points:

Salary not a bar for deserving candidates. In case sufficient number of candidates does not apply for the post then minimum 5 years of relevant experience will be considered with a salary range of Rs. 60,000.
Detailed Terms of Reference for the post of Project Engineer (State Project management Unit) is attached in Annexure B.
The remuneration for the above mentioned posts will be subject to negotiations, performance, skill and delivery.

Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview/written test.
The candidates are requested to attend the interview/written test at their own cost.
