Gauhati Medical College Recruitment 2018– Applications are invited in standard form for walk-in-interview will be held for the following posts in the Department of Community Medicine, Gauhati Medical College at Narakasur Hilltop, Guwahati-32, for the selection of the candidate to be engaged purely on temporary basis under ICMR task force study project entitled- Prevalence of Vitamin A deficiency disorders among children aged 1-5 years in selected Districts of India Assam.

i) Name of the Posts: Research Assistant

Number of Posts: 1

Required Qualification:

  • Degree in related disciplines MBBS/BDS/MSc in Biochemistry, Microbiology, Anthropology, Social sciences with knowledge on computer education.

Remuneration: Rs 31,000 per month

ii) Name of the Posts: Field Worker/ Lab technician

Number of Posts: 5

Required Qualification and Experience:

  • HS pass on Science and two years Diploma in Medical Laboratories or one year DMLT plus
  • One year required experience in a recognized organization or two year field laboratory experience.

Remuneration: Rs 18,000 per month
