• 7 new ministers to be inducted into Sarbananda Sonowal-led ministry. The names are- Siddhartha Bhattacharya (MLA from Guwahati East), Sum Ronghang (Diphu), Pijush Hazarika (Jagiroad), Topon Kumar Gogoi (Sonari) and Bhabesh Kalita (Rangiya), Phani Bhushan Choudhury (Bongaigaon MLA) and MLA Chandan Brahma (Sidli).
