• The Manipur state Government announced 3 day mourning as a mark of respect for the departed soul of former Chief Minister RK Dorendro. 
• The 22nd death anniversary of Jwhwlao Bali Ram Boro was observed by Udalguri District Committee of ABSU at Memberbasti , Harisinga on March 30. An open discussion on the theme, ‘Life and Philosophy of Jwhwlal Bali Ram Boro and his role during the Bodoland Movement’ was alson held on the occasion.  

• The 14th session of the Dhubri District Sahitya Sabha was held at Paglahat High School on March 30
• The Vasundhara NE Woman Entrepreneur of the Year award to be conferred on 26 th April 26, at New Delhi.
