IGRUA offers Ab-initio to CPL Course for issue of CPL with Multi–engine endorsement and Instrument Rating (IR) on Multi-engine Aircraft. Shortlisted candidates shall be inducted as per Final Merit in batches starting Sep 2018 / Jan 2019 / Mar 2019

Required Qualification:

General Candidates

SC / ST / OBC Candidates (in Non-Creamy Layer)

i. Passed in English, Maths & Physics at min 10+2 level with

ii. Minimum 55% Aggregate Marks in Maths & Physics

i. Passed in English, Maths & Physics at min 10+2 level with

ii. Minimum 50% Aggregate Marks in Maths & Physics

Note :-

In case SC/ST and OBC candidates do not qualify even after 5% relaxation in the Entrance Written test, the seats would be dereserved for General Category.
Candidates can also opt for B.Sc. (Aviation) Degree from Chatrapati Sahu Ji Maharaj University Kanpur, being conducted simultaneously with CPL Course. Duration of this course will be 03 years.
All Candidates must comply eligibility criteria by given date for Interview / Aptitude Test.

Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi (IGRUA) Entrance Test Required Training & Application Fee:

Rs. 38 Lacs (Pending approval for revision to Rs.40 lacs) payable in four quarterly installments in one year. Additional expenditure for about Rs. 1.50 Lac towards cost of Uniform, Study Material, Navigation Computer, Head Phones etc. The training fee and other expenditure is same for all category candidates. Boarding & Lodging: Separate Hostels for Boys and Girls. Messing and hostel accommodation within the campus (on twin sharing basis), is provided. (Charges approximately Rs. 10,000/- per month).

Application Fee: Non refundable application fee of Rs. 10,000 for general and OBC candidates, to be paid either through internet banking, debit or credit cards or through Bank Challan payable at any branch of State Bank of India as per instructions for Fee Deposit . The SC & ST candidates are exempted from payment of Application Fee.

ONLINE Written Test, Viva/Interview and Pilot Aptitude Test in the following manner:-

a) Written Test :

At allotted centres on 12th May 2018 (Saturday) 14:30 hrs.

Examination Centers :

Please check Options for centres. Option for three centers is to be made giving first , second and third choice
IGRUA reserves the right to cancel any Center if numbers of Applicants for the Center are inadequate.

Syllabus for Written Test: General English, Maths, Physics, Reasoning & Current Affairs (10+2 level objective type questions only and No negative marking )

Qualifying Marks in Written Test: The cutoff marks for SC/ST/OBC candidates will be 5% less from the cut off marks secured by the last candidate in the General category

Interview / Viva: All short listed Candidates will be required to produce following documents in original as well as one photocopy of each document at the time of interview ( starting from 02 nd July 2018, Monday)

Proof of Date of Birth ( such as 10th Class certificate ).
10th Mark sheet.
10+2 Mark sheet.
Caste Certificate for SC/ST/OBC Candidates.
A Certificate from the competent Authority that the OBC Candidate does not belong to Creamy layer.
Admit Card Downloaded for Written Test.

Pilot Aptitude Test / Psychometric Test: Only successful candidates in Pilot Aptitude / Psychometric Test shall qualify for final selection. – No relaxation criteria will be applicable for SC/ST/OBC Candidates in Pilot Aptitude/ Psychometric Test.

Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Uran Akademi (IGRUA) Entrance Test Important Points:

Commitment Money: All Selected Candidates including SC / ST / OBC will be required to pay commitment money of Rs. 2 Lacs (non-refundable but adjustable against the total fee) by 18th Aug 2018 to secure their seat.
Admit Cards: Admit Cards can be downloaded on or after 05th May 2018. Admit cards will serve as a valid identity for attending Interview / Aptitude test and must be preserved till joining
Travelling Allowance to SC/ST Candidates: SC / ST candidates will be reimbursed only once 2nd Class to and fro rail fare on production of tickets from their registered address to Raebareli to appear for Interview / Pilot Aptitude Test.
