Special Financial Incentive to ST (P) meritorious student for the year 2017-18
Special Financial Incentive to ST (P) meritorious student for the year 2017-18: Applications are invited from ST (P) Meritorious students for Financial Assistance under the scheme of Special Financial Incentive to ST (P) meritorious students” for the year 2017-18. Applicants will apply in proper prescribed format for the same along with all relevant documents
To the Director Welfare of Plains Tribes and Backward Classes, Assam within 07.02.2018 positively if he/she fulfills the following :
- He/she must belong to a ST (P) community of Assam.
- He/she must have secured 80% or above in matriculation or 75% or above in 10+2 examination or 65% or above in Graduation or 60% or above in Post Graduation.

All the application received by the Director WPT & BC. Assam will be placed before the Selection Committee which will scrutinize the same and approve the list of beneficiaries under the scheme. There will not be any income bracket for availing this benefit This incentive shall be awarded only to the meritorious students who have secured prescribed percentage of marks/grades in the academic year 201 6 onwards. No claim would be considered who have qualified the examination prior to 1st Jan/2016.
