Applications are invited from interested candidates  for filling up posts of Peon, Chowkidar, Jarikarak and Driver which are newly created vide letter No. JDJ(E).260/2010/26 dated 03.10.2012 vacant under the establishment of the District & Sessions Judge, Karbi Anglong, Diphu.

Age limit: In between 18 years to 43 years (Relaxation as per Govt. Rules)

How to Apply: 

• • The applicants must submit the applications in the Standard Form of application published in the Assam Gazette Part IX with self attested photocopy of all relevant documents and two recent passport size

• In the top of the application form there should be contact mobile or telephone number written in red ink.
• Completed applications along with all testimonials as mentioned above should be addressed to `The District and Sessions Judge, Karbi Anglong, Diphu, Pin Code-782460‘ and should be dropped in the “Drop Box” Labeled as ‘Drop Box for Applications’ to be kept at the premise of Office of the undersigned within the stipulated date & time.

Syllabus of written exam: 

• For the post of Court Peon, Office Peon. Driver and Jarikarak. a written test of 30 marks with Essay Type questions shall be held and there shall be Oral interview of 20 marks. Question paper of written lest for the post of Driver and aforesaid Peons will be VIII standard and for the post of Jarikarak will be X standard. In addition there shall be a Driving Test of 5 Marks for the post of Driver to be conducted by DTO or any MVI authorized by him or the Board.

Important Notes:

• List of successful candidates will be published in the District & Sessions Judge notice Board, Karbi Anglong, Diphu.
• The candidates will have to produce the testimonials in original, in terms of his/her Age, Caste, and Educational Qualification etc during personal interview, after qualifying the written test.
• Application submitted in any other mode, except as indicated and Incomplete applications will be summarily rejected without any communication to the candidate.
• Applicants  must submit “No Objection Certificate” from appropriate authority at the time of interview who are already in the Government services.
• Candidates Selected  will receive their appointment letters by post at their respective postal address as specified by them in their application form.
• Reservation of candidates belonging to different categories will be as per rules.
• The certificate for claiming reservation must be issued by the competent authority and the same in original must be produced before the selection committee at the time of interview.
• Experience in the relevant field will be counted.
• The Office of the undersigned reserves the right to alter/modify or change any of the terms and conditions including selection criteria etc. mentioned In the advertisement.
• The Admission of candidates at all stages of the selection process will be purely provisional and subject to their satisfying and prescribed eligibility conditions by way of furnishing documentary evidence in support thereof. If on verification at any time before or after the selection process, it is found that a candidate does not fulfill any of the eligibility condition. his/her candidature shall stand cancelled. Mere calling of candidate to the written test/skill test/interview does not necessarily mean acceptance of candidature.
• Any information submitted by an applicant in his/her application will bind the candidate personally and if found to be false shall be liable for criminal prosecution apart from civil law.
• The said recruitment office/ board  the right to cancel the advertisement, alter any terms and conditions of the advertisement at any stage.
• All other matters regarding the recruitment process which are not specified herein shall be as decided by the selection committee taking note of the guidelines of the Honerable Gauhati High Court rules.
• No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates.
• Under the mark of 1:3 candidates will be called for Viva Voce.
