NIT Meghalaya Recruitment-National Institute of Technology Meghalaya invites applications forms from Indian nationals possessing requisite academic qualifications and experience, with commitment to work and an inclination towards institutional development, for appointment to the various positions listed below on permanent basis apply before last date is over-

NIT Meghalaya Recruitment Post Details:

(i) Post Name: Assistant Registrar

Number of Post: 02 (UR-1, OBC-1)

Pay: PB-3 (15,600/- to 39,100/-) with GP of 5,400/-

Age:  35 Yrs.

Educational Qualification: 

1. Post graduate degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks or its equivalent Grade „B‟ in the UGC 7 point scale from a recognized University / Institute with excellent academic record.
2. Experience of least 3 years at Grade Pay of `4800/- or higher in a reputed organisation.
3. Persons with Commerce or Finance background will be preferred for one of the posts.

Desirable:

1. Qualification in area of Management / Engineering / Law.
2. Proficient in handling computerized administration / legal / financial / establishment / academic matters.
3. A Chartered or Cost Accountant degree or diploma for the post of Assistant Registrar (Finance and Accounts).

(ii) Post Name: Superintendent

Number of Post: 03 (UR-1, ST-2)

Pay: PB-2 (9,300/- to 34,800/-) with GP of 4200/-

Age:  30 Yrs.

Educational Qualification: 

1. First class (Hons.) Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent grade from a recognized University or Institute in any discipline.

OR

1. Master’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute.
2. At least 2 years relevant experience.
3. Knowledge in use of Office Automation Software.

 

(iii) Post Name: Technical Assistant(Computer Centre/ Civil) One post for each Dept.

Number of Post: 02 (UR-1, ST-1)

Pay: PB-2 (9,300/- to 34,800/-) with GP of 4200/-

Age:  30 Yrs.

Educational Qualification: 

1. First Class Diploma of 3 years duration from a recognized University /Institute in Engineering (Computer Science/ Civil) plus 2 years relevant experience.

OR

1. Bachelor‟s Degree in Engineering (Computer Science/ Civil) from a recognized University /Institute.

(iv) Post Name: Junior Assistant

Number of Post: 02 (UR-2)

Pay: PB-1 (5,200/- to 20,000/-) with GP of 2000/-

Age:  27 Yrs.

Educational Qualification: 

1. Bachelor‟s degree and proficiency in use of Office Automation Software.

 

(v) Post Name: Junior Assistant (Library)

Number of Post: 01 (ST-1)

Pay: PB-1 (5,200/- to 20,000/-) with GP of  2000/-

Age:  27 Yrs.

Educational Qualification:

1. Graduate in Library Science.
2. Experience of at least 2 years working in a Library.

OR

1. Post Graduate Degree in Library Science.

Desirable:

1. Experience in Library Automation/ knowledge of computerization of Library.

 

(vi) Post Name: Multi-tasking Staff (Welder)

Number of Post: 01 (ST-1)

Pay: PB-1 (5,200/- to 20,000/-) with GP of 2000/-

Age:  27 Yrs.

Educational Qualification: 

1. ITI Certificate in Welder Trade.
2. Class 10 passed from a recognized Board.
3. Two Yrs. relevant experience.
