Biometric (Finger Print) Registration of Applicants for the post of Junior Assistant Directorate & District level
It is hereby informed to all applicants who have applied for the posts of Junior Assistant Directorate & District level in the Forest Department, in under the recruitment notice of the recruitment board advertisement (notice dated 20th December 2016) that Forest Department Assam Biometric (Finger Print) Registration of Junior Assistant Directorate & District level posts will be conduct prior to the written recruitment test which is scheduled to be held on the 9th July’2017 on Sunday. To conduct a clean recruitment process, Biometric Registration of all the applicants, only for the post of Junior Assistant (Directorate & District) will starts from 19th June’2017 onwards, in the offices of Divisional Forest Office (DFO) as per the list given on the official website www.assamforest.in.
Documents to be submitted for Biometric Registration of Junior Assistant (Directorate & District):
All the applicants must bring documents mentioned below in original along with self-attested photocopies of the documents for verification and submitting the same for registration:
- Certificate of proof of age- Admit card or pass certificate of HSLC or equivalent examination;
- Degree Certificate or equivalent examination;
- Work experience certificate issued by competent authority of forest department: If any
- National and State level sport certificate: If any
- Certificate of caste from the competent authority in respect of the candidates belonging to ST (P)/ ST (H)/ SC/ OBC & MOBC;
- BPL applicants must bring the original BPL card for verification (not Ration Card);
- Certificate of competent Medical Authority by Persons with Disability (PwD);
- Printed reference number with date of online payment made.

Important Notes :
- The date of birth mentioned in the HSLC or an equivalent examination certificate issued by a recognized Board will only be accepted by the Assam Forest Department as cut off for age.
- For Biometric Registration should positively All candidates report to the respective premises of the Divisional Forest Office positively by 08:30 AM.
- Assam Forest Department will only accept BPL certificate issued by the competent authority for the BPL category candidates. No other document relating to the BPL such as Income certificate, Ration Card and other certificate issued by the unauthorized authority and the like will be accepted.
- Candidate wise date and time for Biometric Registration will be announced through the office website. Applicants are requested to report only on the date allotted to them.
- Any applicant failing to submit relevant testimonials/documents for Biometric Registration will not be issued admit cards.
