Compartmental Examination HSLC/AHM 2017 Under SEBA ASSAM

Compartmental Examination HSLC/AHM 2017 Under SEBA ASSAM notification is released. The Board of Secondary Education, Assam(SEBA) has declared the results of HSLC Examination,2017 on 31/5/17. However it is noticed that only 47.94% of the students appeared have come out successful and 202179 students have failed in the Examination. After thoroughly studying the present scenario, the Government Assam in Secondary Education Department has decided that SEBA will conduct a Compartmental Examination of HSLC/AHM in order to facilitate the failed students. The SEBA will conduct the compartmental examination in such a way that the results can be declared within 20* August, 2017 and the students can take admission in class-XI in the current session itself.

There is a news that as per recommendation of the Examination Committee in its meeting dated 23^rd May, 2017 the Board of Secondary Education, Assam has decided to hold the Compartmental Examination of HSLC/AHM Examination for those candidates who could not come out successful in HSLC/AHM Examination, 2017, but failed in maximum in three subjects and obtained minimum 170 marks in aggregate, are eligible to appear in the Compartmental Examination in single chance. The candidate appeared in Compartmental Examination has to secure 30% marks in the subjects appeared and his total marks must be 180 to come out successful. All successful candidates will be eligible in higher classes in the same academic year.

Meanwhile, if such candidate, can not come out successful in compartmental Examination (Single Chance) they shall have to take re-admission in their respective schools to appear again as regular Candidate, if so desire.

The earlier notification issued vide Notification No.SEBA/EX/Reg-Pvt/07/01/04 dated 05-05-2008 on the discontinuation of Compartmental Chance Examination, is hereby withdrawn w.e.f. HSLC/AHM Examination, 2017

Important notes and dates:

1) The Compartmental Examination (Single Chance) will commence from[highlight color=”orange”] 27th July to 30th July, 2017[/highlight].

2) Schedule for online filling up of form through respective school will start from [highlight color=”orange”]5/6/2017 to 12/6/2017[/highlight]

3) The Examination Fees of Rs.300.00 (Rupees three hundre ) only shall have to be paid for each subject, through system generated challan of Assam Co-Cooperative Apex Bank Ltd.

4) The candidate have to be paid Rs.100.00 (Rupees one hundred) only as Centre Fees to the centre assigned for him while collecting the Admit Card from their respective centers.

5) The Compartmental Examination shall be only for Theory Paper.

6) The marks of Internal Assessment and Practical Examination obtained in the subject in the HSLC/AHM Examination, 2017 will carry over-for-the subject appeared in the Compartmental Examination.

7) The centre for Compartmental Examination shall be in District Headquarter. However, centre in Sub- Division may also be considered, if required.

8) The successful candidates will get a composite fresh Mark-Sheet incorporating the marks obtained by him in the Compartmental Examination.
