Junior Assistant Recruitment 2017 and Assistant store keeper recruitment 2017 notification is released by Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Assam for recruitment in the Office of DTE Assam and in the technical institutions of Assam. Candidates interested to apply for the posts must be Indian citizen as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India and permanent resident of Assam.

** For incumbent posted at the office of the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Assam Grade pay is Rs. 2400/-, for others selected Grade pay is Rs. 2200/-
Age requirement for the posts:
- Candidates age must be in between of 18 to 38 years as on 01/01/2017.
- For reserved category candidate there is upper age limit is relaxable as per Govt. OM No. ABP 06/2016/04, dated 3rd March’2016.

Mode of Apply: Online
How to apply:
- Candidates have to apply online through the official website of DTE ASSAM www.dteassam.in and click on “Online Application for Junior Assistant / Online Application for Assistant Store Keeper”.
- Candidates are required to upload following documents while applying online.
- Scan copy of the testimonials in support of the educational qualification from schools to degree level.
- Scan copy of Age, Caste certificate, employment exchange registration number, etc.
- Scan copy of recent passport size photograph and specimen signature.
- Candidates must produce the original documents mentioned above and the self attested copies of all documents along with 3 copies of the photograph uploaded in the online application in due course of time which will be available in website.
- No applications are required to sent either by Post or personally.
Application fee:
Candidates must pay application fee of Rs. 250/- (General candidates) and for reserved category candidates application fee is Rs. 150/-. Payment detail is available in the official DTE website.
Selection process:
- There is a possibility of short listing based on the overall academic records of the candidates to appear in written examination. Only shortlisted candidates can appear in the written examination.
- Written Test & Computer Proficiency test: Details of the test and examination date will be uploaded in the website as well as will be published in local newspaper

Important Notes:
- The Online Application registration will start from 05/05/2017 and will remain open till 26/5/2017.
- Candidates are required to give choice of institution/ institutions applied in correct order of preference. Merit list will be prepared by the recruitment board Institute wise and the candidates are required to select the institution/ institutions in order of their preference.
- Candidates successfully completed the online application for will get unique number for the application submitted. Candidates are requested to keep the Unique Registration Number for all future reference.
- Institute wise vacancy position is available in the official website of DTE ASSAM.
- Candidate must apply separately for the posts of Junior Assistant and Assistant Store Keeper.
