ASTC RECRUITMENT 2017 – Assam State Transport Corporation, Guwahati (ASTC) releases notification fOR interested candidates to fill up of total 82 posts in various categories namely  of Assistant Personnel Officer, Junior Engineer (Civil), Foreman (Automobile), Upper Division Assistant, Lower Division Assistant, Internal Auditor, Section Assistant. The Candidates should be Indian Citizen as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India. It is a good opportunity for aspirants who are preparing for various Assam government Jobs to apply through online mode for engagement as an employee in – Assam State Transport Corporation (ASTC)  under Government of Assam.

Name of the posts:

1. Assistant Personnel Officer

• Number of posts : 2 (Two) UR-1, OBC/MOBC-1
• Pay Band : Rs.8000 – 35000, Grade Pay : Rs. 4500.00
• Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline. Preference will be given to M.B.A. (HR) degree holders.

2. Junior Engineer (Civil)

• Number of posts : 4 (Four) UR-2, OBC/MOBC-1, STP-1, Woman-1
• Pay Band :Rs.5200.00 – Rs.20200.00, Grade Pay : 3300.00
• Educational Qualification: Diploma in Engineering(Civil) from any Govt. recognised Institute

3. Foreman (Automobile)

• Number of posts : 5 (Five) UR-3, OBC/MOBC-1, STP-1, Woman-1
• Pay Band :Rs.5200.00 – Rs.20200.00, Grade Pay : 3300.00
• Educational Qualification: Diploma in Engineering(Automobile / Mechanical) from any Govt. recognised Institute

4. Upper Division Assistant

• Number of posts : 17 (Seventeen) UR-9, OBC/MOBC-4, STH-1, SC-1, STP-2, Women-5
• Pay Band: Rs.5200.00 – Rs.20200.00, Grade Pay : Rs.2900.00.
• Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline & Diploma in Computer Application Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as Ministerial Staff in any Govt. Department Or PSU

5. Lower Division Assistant

• Number of posts : 50 (Fifty) UR-27, OBC/MOBC-13, STH-2, SC-3, STP-5, Women-15, PWD-1
• Pay Band : Rs.5200.00 – Rs.20200.00, Grade Pay : Rs.2400.00
• Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline & Diploma in Computer Application (minimum 6 months course)

6. Internal Auditor

• Number of posts : 1 (One) UR-1
• Pay Band :Rs.5200.00 – Rs.20200.00, Grade Pay : 3300.00
• Educational Qualification: B.Com, Minimum two years of C.A. Article ship & Diploma in Computer Application (minimum 6months course).

7. Section Assistant

• Number of posts : 3 (Three)UR-2, OBC/MOBC-1, Woman-1
• Pay Band :Rs.5200.00 – Rs.20200.00, Grade Pay : 2200.00
• Educational Qualification: Higher Secondary& Diploma in Computer Application

ASTC Recruitment 2017 Important Points:

AGE: Age of candidates must be in between 21 years and 43 years as on 01-01-2017 as per Govt. O.M. No.ABP.6/2016/04 dated 03-03-2016. Upper age relaxation for S.C. & S.T. by 5 years and for O.B.C./M.O.B.C. by 3years

Mode of Selection and examination date:  Multiple Choice Objective Type Examination. Examination will be conducted tentatively between 15th June and 14th July, 2017

Important notes:

2. Application fee of Rs.500.00 is to be deposited online through the link provided in the Online Application Form
3. Keep ready scanned copy of recent Passport size photograph in .jpg format (10 kb-45 kb) and scanned copy of signature in.jpg (10 kb-30 kb), which are to be uploaded while applying online.
4. For attending Test/Interview etc. no TA/DA will be provided by ASTC.
5. Incomplete application will be summarily rejected without any notice.
