PMAY Assam Urban Recruitment Details
1. MIS/IT Expert
No of Posts: 03 Posts
Required Qualification:
- Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or Electronics or MCA/PGDCA or Mathematics/Statistics.
- Post Graduate with minimum 5 years of experience or Graduate with 3 years of experience.
- Experience in Government/semi Govt./autonomous organizations/private company of repute.
- Exposure in handling MIS tools & project management, database management software etc.
2. Social Development Expert
No of Posts: 04 Posts
Required Qualification:
- Required qualification in Social Sciences (Sociology, Anthropology, Psychology)/Social Work/Development Studies/Community Development/Public Policy/Human Resource Development/Public Administration or any discipline.
- Post Graduate with minimum 5 years of experience or Graduate with 3 years of experience.
- Experience in the urban development sector.
- Experience in designing, implementing and evaluating Capacity Building activities, preferably in the municipal environment.
3. Financial Management & Accounting Expert
No of Posts: 03 Posts
Required Qualification:
- Required qualification in Finance /Accounting or M.Com/B.Com or MBA in Finance with experience in municipal finance.
- Post Graduate with minimum 5 years of experience or Graduate with 3 years of experience.
- Experience in evaluating urban infrastructure investments and helping ULB to use a range of options for financing projects.
- Experience of dealing with Banks /PLIs will be added advantage.

Interested candidates must submit duly filled prescribed application format along with self-attested copies of educational qualifications, experience certificates, age proof, identity proof and other relevant testimonials by 25th May, 2026 till 5 PM from the date of publication of the advertisement through Speed Post/Blue Dart Courier or through e-mail at [email protected]. Only shortlisted candidates shall be called for attending the Walk-in Interview.
Candidates appearing in the Walk-in Interview must produce all original documents/testimonials for verification at the time of interview, failing which candidature may be cancelled.
Only shortlisted candidates shall be called for attending the Walk-in Interview at the Office of the State Mission Directorate, PMAY-HFA (Urban), 2nd Floor, Municipal Administration Department, Dispur, Guwahati-06. The date and time of the Walk-in Interview shall be notified separately after completion of scrutiny of applications.
