i) Name of the Post: Junior Assistant (Directorate of Elementary Education, Assam)
Number of Post: 9 [UR-3, SC-0, ST-3, OBC/MOBC-3]
Salary: Pay Band-I @ Rs. 14,000 to Rs. 49,000 + Grade Pay Rs. 6,200/-per month plus other allowances as admissible under rules
Required Qualification:
- Must have a Bachelor Degree and computer Knowledge.
- Must possess a minimum 6 (six) months Diploma in Computer Application from an institute recognised by the Government.
ii) Name of the Post: Junior Assistant (Field Level Establishment under DEE, Assam)
Number of Post: 58 [UR-31, SC-3, ST-11, OBC/MOBC-31]
Salary: Pay Band-I @ Rs. 14,000 to Rs. 49,000 + Grade Pay Rs. 6,200/-per month plus other allowances as admissible under rules
Required Qualification:
- Must have a Bachelor Degree and computer Knowledge.
- Must possess a minimum 6 (six) months Diploma in Computer Application from an institute recognised by the Government.
iii) Name of the Post: Statistical Assistant (Field Level Establishment under DEE, Assam)

Salary: Pay Band-I @ Rs. 14,000 to Rs. 49,000 + Grade Pay Rs. 6,200/-per month plus other allowances as admissible under rules

Selection Process For Directorate of Elementary Education, Assam Recruitment 2019:
The candidates must undergo a Written Examination (OMR), A Writing Ability Test and Computer Proficiency Test in a phase manner.
- 1st Phase: The Written Examination will be held for total 100 marks
- 2nd Phase: The Writing Ability Test will be held for total 30 marks to assess the Language Skill of English and Assamese.
- 3rd Phase: The Computer Proficiency Test will be held for total 20 marks Candidates must have to qualify in the 1st Phase to appear in the 2nd Phase and 3rd Phase respectively.
