APSC Assistant Engineer, Agricultural Development Officer and Research Assistant Recruitment – Assam Public Service Commission invites application from Indian Citizens as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India for the Assistant Engineer(Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical), Agricultural Development Officer and Research Assistant posts under Assam Government in the scale of pay as indicated below and carrying usual allowances as admissible under Rules of the Govt. of Assam.

Post Details:
i) Name of the Post: Assistant Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical)
Total number of Post: 33
Required Qualification: A degree in respective disciplines of Civil/Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical Engineering of an Indian or Foreign University recognized by Govt. or AMIE(Part A & B Passed).
Scale of Pay: Rs. 30,000/- 110000/- (PB-4) with Grade pay of Rs. 12,700/- plus other allowances
as Admissible under the Rules.
Age: The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01-01-2018. The upper age limit is relaxable as per the govt. rule.
ii) Name of the Post: Agricultural Development Officer
Total number of Post: 115
Required Qualification: A candidate must pass B.Sc (Agriculture) or a degree declared equivalent to B.Sc (Agriculture) from a recognized University and also recognized by the Govt. of Assam
Scale of Pay: Rs. 30,000/- 110000/- (PB-4) with Grade pay of Rs. 12,700/- plus other allowances
as Admissible under the Rules.
Age: The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01-01-2018. The upper age limit is relaxable as per the govt. rule.
iii) Name of the Post: Research Assistant
Total number of Post: 09
Required Qualification:Bachelors Degree from a recognized University with Economics/Geography/ Sociology/Statistics/Mathematics as one of the subjects.
Scale of Pay: Rs. 30,000/- 110000/- (PB-4) with Grade pay of Rs. 12,700/- plus other allowances
as Admissible under the Rules.
Age: The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01-01-2018. The upper age limit is relaxable as per the govt. rule.
