Golaghat District Judiciary Recruitment Details
1. Driver
No of Posts: 01 Post
Salary: Rs. 15,000/- per month Fixed Pay.
Educational Qualification: Minimum educational qualification for the post is VIII (eight) passed.
Driving License: The candidate must possess a valid driving license (LMV).
Local Language: The candidate should have the knowledge of Official Language of the State of Assam (Assamese).
Employment Exchange: The candidate must possess Employment Exchange Registration number for the State of Assam.
Age: The candidate should not be less than 18 years and not more than 40 years of age as on 01.01.2026. Age relaxation shall be as per Govt. norms for reserued categories.
Last Date: 15 days[From 8th April, 2026]
2. Office Assistant
No of Posts: 01 Post
Salary: Rs. 18,000/- per month Fixed Pay.
Educational Qualification: Graduation.
Other Eligibilities:
- Basic word processing skills and the ability to operate computer and skills to feed data.
- Good typing speed with proper setting of petition.
- Ability to take dictation and prepare files for presentation in the Courts.
Age: Minimum :21 years Maximum: 40 years as on date of advertisement. Age Relaxation as per Govt. Rule

How to Apply for Golaghat District Judiciary Recruitment
For Driver:
The candidate shall have to submit self attested documents (photocopy) of all educational qualification, age proof, valid driving license, employment exchange registration certificate and other necessary testimonials along with 3 copies of recent passpot size photographs along with the application form.
The candidate must indicate prominently the name of the post applied for on the right hand corner of the envelope containing the application.
Completed applications along with all testimonials as mentioned above should be addressed to “The Chairman, District Legal Services Authority, Golaghat, 1st floor of District Judicial Courts & Offices, Golaghat, P.O. – Golaghat PIN-785621, Assam“. Applications sent through post super scribed as “Application for the Post of Driver (Contractual)” should reach the office of the undersigned within 15 days of publication of the advertisement.
For Office Assistant:
Walk-in-Interview for the post will be herd on 30th April, 2026 at 3 PM. The registration process for the walk-in-Interview will start at 10.30 AM till 2PM, The candidates have to reach the office of the District Legal services Authority, Golaghat, 1st floor of District Judicial courts & offices, Golaghat. No candidate will be allowed to register for the walk in interview after 2 PM. in any circumstances.
To appear in the walk in Interview, the candidates will have to bring self certified/attested copies of the following documents:
- Standard Form as published in Assam Gazette in part IX to the issuing authority.
- H.S.L.C admit card for age proof.
- Educational qualification certificate.
- Computer education certificate.
- Certificate of higher education, if any
- 02 (Two) nos. of passport size photographs.
- Employment Exchange certificate.
