    Assam Legislative Assembly invites for the the citizen of India as defined in the Article 5 & 8 of the Constitution of India for filling up the following posts in the scale of pay as shown against the following –

    Last Date: 18-03-2017

    Under Secretary:

    Number of Post: 01

    Pay: Rs. 12,000/- to 40,000/-  with Grade Pay Rs.  6,300/- Per Month.

    Librarian:

    Number of Post: 01

    Pay: Rs. 12,000/- to 40,000/- with Grade Pay Rs. 5900/-Per Month.

    Assam Legislative Assembly Recruitment Eligibility Criteria:

    Under Secretary:-

    Any person who is duly selected by the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) through Combined Competitive Examination for ACS and Allied Services and have the working experience of at least 3 ( three) years in the capacity of an Employment Officer may apply for the post.

    Librarian:-

    Candidate must hold the Master Degree in Library Science from any recognized University. Preference will be given to those who have got 5 (five) years of experience as Librarian in any institution and haying experience in operating Library related software.

    Assam Legislative Assembly Recruitment Age Limit:

    The candidate must not be less than 18 (Eighteen) years and not more than 43 (Forty three) years irrespective of If it is a fresh candidate or applying through proper channel (In case of General and OBC/MOBC candidates) at the time of application as per Govt.  The upper age limit Is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST (P) and ST (H) candidates as per prevailing Govt. Rule.

    How to Apply?

    1. Application in Standard Form as published in Part-IX of the Assam Gazette with sell attested photo copies of all Testimonials including the Certificate in proof of age and 2 (two) copies of recent pass port Size photographs should reach the office of the Principal Secretary, Assam Legislative Assembly, Dispur, Guwahati-781006.

    2. A self addressed envelope (size 22x10cm) affixing postal stamp of Rs. 5/-only will be submitted.
    3. Candidates those who are in Government service may also apply through proper channel.
    4. Caste Certificate issued by competent authority must be enclosed in case of reserved categories candidates. Incomplete applications shall be summarily rejected.
