1. Field Assistant (Statistics)/ Enumerator post under ISS of the Directorate of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary, Assam.
No of posts: 72 Posts
Scale of Pay: Pay Band-2 of Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 70,000/- + Grade Pay of Rs. 5,600/- plus other allowances as admissible from time to time.
Educational Qualification: For direct recruitment to the cadre of Field Assistant (Statistics)/Enumerator a candidate must have –
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university in any subject having studied at least a paper of Statistics/ Economics/ Mathematics/ Social Science/ Sociology/ Psychology at Graduate level OR, Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with 50% marks in Mathematics at 12th standard.
- Knowledge of Computer along with comfort in Keying data through handheld device: Candidates must qualify and upload Computer Course Certificate of minimum 6 (six) months duration from a Government recognized Institute.
Employment Exchange registration: The candidate must have a valid Employment Exchange registration certificate in the State of Assam
Knowledge of English and Local Language: Candidates must have both English and any one of the Local Languages (Assamese, Bengali, Bodo) as subjects during HSLC.
Small Family: Candidates have to submit a declaration regarding “The Small Family Norms” in Form-A as and when asked.
Age Limit For SLRC Assam Recruitment 2026
Age: A Candidate should not be less than 21 years as on 01.01.2026 and not more than 40 years of age as on 01.01.2026. The age limit of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of the HSLC/Class X Pass Certificate or HSLC/Class X Admit Card issued by a recognized Board/Council where Age/Date of Birth is clearly reflected.
