IB Security Assistant Recruitment Details:

Name of the Post: Security Assistant (Motor Transport)

Number of Posts: 455 Posts [UR: 219, OBC/ NCL: 90, SC: 51, ST: 49, EWS: 46]

Vacancy for Assam: 11 Posts

Salary: Level 3 (Rs.21,700-69,100) in the pay matrix plus admissible Central Govt. allowances.

Educational Qualification: The minimum qualification required is matriculation (10th pass) or equivalent from a recognized board.

Professional Qualification: Possession of valid driving license for Motor Cars (LMV) issued by the competent authority; and  Knowledge of Motor Mechanism (The candidate should be able to remove minor defects in the vehicle)

Desirable qualifications: Possession of valid driving license for Motorcycle issued by the competent authority.

Experience: Experience of driving a Motor Car for at least one year after obtaining valid driving license.

Desirable Qualification: Possession of valid driving license for Motorcycle issued by the competent authority.

Domicile Certificate: The candidate must possess a domicile certificate of the state against which they are applying.

Age: The age of the applicant must be between 18 to 27 years as of the closing date of the application.

Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC: 3 years
• The age limit is relaxable up to age of 35 years for UR candidates, 38 years for OBC and up to 40 years for SC/ST in case of widows, divorced women and women judicially separated from their husbands and not remarried.

Assam’s Exam Centre Written Exam: Dibrugarh, Guwahati, Jorhat, Silchar and Tezpur.

It is in 02 components: Examination Fee: ₹ 100/- (Rupees Hundred only) & Recruitment Processing Charges: ₹ 550/- to be paid as under:
