Details of SSC CHSL Recruitment

Name of the Exam: Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination(CHSL), 2025

No of Posts: 3131 Posts (approx.)

Scale of Pay:

• Lower Division Clerk(LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA): Pay Level-2(Rs. 19,900-63,200)
• Data Entry Operator (DEO): Pay Level-4 (Rs. 25,500-81,100) and Level-5 (Rs. 29,200-92,300)
• Data Entry Operator, Grade ‘A’: Pay Level-4 (Rs. 25,500-81,100)

Educational Qualification:

• Data Entry Operator (DEO)/ DEO Grade ‘A’ in Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution and Ministry of Culture: 12th Standard pass in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.
• LDC/JSA and DEO/DEO Grade ‘A’ (except DEOs in Department/ Ministry mentioned above): Candidates must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.

Age Limit: Candidates age must be between 18 to 27 years as on 01st January 2026 i.e. Candidates born not before 02-01-1999 and not later than 01-01-2008 are eligible to apply.

Relaxation of Age: The category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below.

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC: 3 years
• PWD: 10 years
• PWD (OBC): 13 years
• PWD (SC/ ST): 15 years
• ESM: 3 years

Application Fee:

• UR/ OBC: Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only).
• Fee are exempted for Female, Ex-servicemen and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) categories.
