Details of APSC JDO Recruitment

1. Junior Development Officer (JDO) in Planning Services under Transformation & Development Department, Govt. of Assam.

No of posts: 09 Posts [UR: 03, OBC/ MOBC: 03, SC: 01, STP: 01, STH: 01]

Scale of Pay: Rs. 22,000/- to Rs. 97,000/- Grade Pay: Rs. 9,400/- Pay Band – 3

Educational Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Arts, Science or Commerce from any recognized University with either Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Agricultural Economics, Sociology, Anthropolgy, Social Anthropology, Social Work, Business Administration, Business Management, Geography or Commerce as one of the subjects. Preference shall be given to Honours graduates.

Age: The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01-01-2025. The upper age limit is relatable. Relaxation of age is SC: 5 years, ST: 5 years, OBC/ MOBC: 3 years, PwBD: 10 years.
