NEEPCO Apprentice Recruitment 2025
The North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited (NEEPCO) has published recruitment notifications regarding recruitment of 135 Graduate Apprentice, Trade Apprentice and Technician Apprentice posts. Details of NEEPCO Apprentice Recruitment
1. Graduate Apprentice
No of posts: 54 Posts
Monthly stipend: Rs. 18,000/- per month
Educational Qualification: A Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by a Statutory University and A Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by an Institution empowered to grant such degree by an Act of parliament.
2. Technician Apprentice (Diploma in Engineering or Technology)
No of posts: 34 Posts
Monthly stipend: Rs. 15,000/- per month
Educational Qualification:
- A Diploma in Engineering or Technology Granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government.
- A Diploma in Engineering or Technology from a University.
- A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by an Institute recognized by the State Govt. or Central Govt. as equivalent to (a) and (b) above.
3. Graduate or Equivalent in General Streams such as B.A, B.Sc & B.Com.
No of posts: 27 Posts
Monthly stipend: Rs. 15,000/- per month
Educational Qualification:
- A degree in any subject (other than engineering/ technology) of a minimum three years duration granted by a Statutory University.
- A degree in any subject (other than engineering/ technology) of a minimum of three years duration granted by an Institution empowered to grant such degree by an Act of parliament.
- Graduate examination of professional bodies recognized by the Central Government as equivalent to a degree (other than engineering/ technology).
4. Trade Apprentice
No of posts: 25 Posts
Monthly stipend: Rs. 14877/- per month
Educational Qualification:
- Electrician: 10th & ITI Pass
- Lineman: 10th & ITI Pass
- Plumber: ITI Pass
- Fitter: 10th & ITI Pass
Age Limit: Maximum age 28 years as on 01-12-2024, but not less than 18 years. Age relaxation is allowed for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/ Other Backward Classes/ Persons with Disability/ Ex-servicemen, as per applicable Govt. of India rules. Reservation for Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/ Other Backward Classes (NCL)/ Persons with Disability/ Economically Weaker Section, will be as per existing Govt. of India rules.
Qualification Date:
- For Graduate Engineering & Diploma Engineering, the candidate should have completed his / her Graduation / Diploma not before 31st March, 2023.
- For Non-Engineering Graduate or equivalent in general streams such as B.A, B.Sc & B.Com, the candidate should have completed his / her Graduation / Diploma not before 31st March, 2023.
- For ITI Trade Apprentices, the candidate should have completed ITI course.
How to Apply for NEEPCO Apprentice Recruitment 2025
Interested and eligible candidates need to apply online for NEEPCO Recruitment through the official Recruitment Portal. Candidates may follow below mentioned steps to apply online.
For Graduate Engineering & Diploma Engineering-
Candidates must apply online at National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) and no other mode of application will be accepted.
Step I
- The Candidates must get himself / herself enrolled / registered with Board of Practical Training (BOPT), through online enrolment at National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS), in https://nats.education.gov.in/ and poses a valid enrolment ID generated after successful enrolment.
- For instance, there may be candidates who possess qualification of both B.Tech and Diploma. If he/ she apply against Technician (Diploma) training slots, he/she must register as Diploma only in the NATS portal.
Step II
- After successful online registration at in https://nats.education.gov.in/ and receipt of a valid enrolment ID, the candidate is advised to log in using your registered ID and Password can apply against the following Establishment of NEEPCO and opt for the desired stream in line with fulfilment of educational qualifications and eligibility criteria.
For Non-Engineering Graduate or equivalent in general streams such as B.A, B.Sc & B.Com
Candidates must apply online at National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) and no other mode of application will be accepted.
Step I

Step II
- After successful online registration at https://nats.education.gov.in/ and receipt of a valid enrolment ID, the candidate is advised to log in using your registered ID and Password and apply against any one of the following Establishment of NEEPCO and opt for the desired stream in line with fulfilment of educational qualifications and eligibility criteria.
ITI Trade Apprentice (Electrician, Lineman, Plumber &Fitter)
Candidates must apply online at National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) (www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in) and no other mode of application will be accepted.
Step I
- The Candidates must get himself / herself enrolled / registered with National Promotion Scheme (NAPS), through online enrolment at www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in and poses a valid enrolment ID generated after successful enrolment.
Selection Process of NEEPCO Apprentice Recruitment
- Eligible candidates for various categories will be sourced / extracted from the data base of the apprenticeship portals.
- Selection shall be based on merit as per mark secured in the degree/ diploma course as mentioned against each Apprentice posts.
- First preference shall be given to candidates belonging to the State in which the Power Station (s) is/ are located. After allocation of seats to candidates belonging to the state, if no sufficient candidates are found; selection for rest nos. of seats shall be based on the merit as per marks secured in the Graduation / diploma engineering course by the candidates belonging to other NE states of domicile
