Educational Qualification:
- Postgraduate degree in Science, Mathematics, Social Sciences, Commerce, or Languages.
- M.Ed.
- Ph.D. in Education.
- Ten years of teaching experience in a teacher education institution for Professor, and eight years for Associate Professor.
- Any other relevant qualification prescribed by the University Grants Commission (UGC) for these categories of posts.
Desirable: Diploma or Degree in Educational Administration or Leadership
2. Assistant Professor in Liberal Discipline & Pedagogy
No of Post: 12 Posts(1 per subject)
Subject wise Vacancies:
History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, (Assamese/English/Hindi/Bengali/Bodo)Communicative Skill in English, Communicative Skill in Classical Languages
Educational Qualification:
- Postgraduate degree in the concerned subject with a minimum of 55% marks.
- B.Ed. degree with a minimum of 55% marks.
- NET/SLET/Ph.D. in the concerned subject as prescribed by UGC/NCTE.
Desirable: M.Ed. with specialization in Secondary Education and Ph.D. in Education.
3. Assistant Professor in Educational Studies

Subject: Educational Studies.
Educational Qualification: Postgraduate degree in Education (M.Ed.) with a minimum of 55% marks or its equivalent grade and NET/SLET/Ph.D. in Education.
Desirable: Master’s degree in Psychology, Philosophy, Sociology, or allied subjects.
