NHM Assam Recruitment Details:

Name of the Post: Community Health Officer

Number of Posts: 100 Posts

Reservations against the Posts:

• Schedule Caste – 7%
• Schedule Tribes (Plain) – 10%
• Schedule Tribes (Hills) – 5%
• Other Backward Classes (OBC)/ More Other Backward Classes (MOBC) – 30%
• Tea tribes and Adivasi Community of Assam (under OBC Category) -3%

Remuneration: Rs. 27,500/- per month

Required Eligibility: GNM/ B.Sc Nursing with 6 (Six) Months Certificate Course in Community Health under IGNOU.

Age: Up to 40 years as on 01/01/2025 (Relaxation in maximum age : SC/ST candidates – 5 years, OBC/MOBC candidates – 3 years, PWD candidates – 10 years). The category wise maximum age is as given below.

• SC/ST: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 45 years
• OBC: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 45 years
• PwD: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 50 years
