RRB Group D Recruitment Details
1. Group D/ Level 1
No of Posts: 32438 Posts
Scale of Pay: Pay Level-1 of 7th CPC Starting Basic Pay ₹ 18000/-
Required Eligibility: Candidates must have passed class 10th or an equivalent examination from a recognized board or university.
Age: Age limit must be between 18 to 36 years as on 1st July 2025. Upper age relaxation will be 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
Selection Process for RRB Group D Recruitment
The selection process for the RRB Group D Recruitment 2025 includes multiple testes and verifications, Computer-Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Document Verification (DV), and Medical Examination (ME) will be conducted to select the candidates.
Computer-Based Test (CBT):
There will be Single Online CBT Exams for the RRB Group D Exam of 100 objective MCQ types of questions. The total duration of the examination will be 90 minutes. There will be a negative marking of 0.33 Marks for every question attempted wrong.
- General Intelligence and reasoning: 30 No. of Questions, 30 marks
- General Science: 25 No. of Questions. 25 marks
- General Awareness & Current Affairs: 20 No. of Questions. 20 marks
- Mathematics: 25 No. of Questions. 25 marks
Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
Male and Female candidates applying for the Group D posts will have to qualify for the Physical Efficiency Test that will be conducted after the written exam.

How to Apply for RRB Group D Recruitment
Interested and Eligible candidates have to apply online, the online application link shall be available at official web portal of RRB from 23/01/2025 to 22/02/2025. Aspirants may follow the below mentioned steps to apply online.

- Click on the Online Application Link
- Now, you will be redirected to the official web portal of RRB.
- In that portal, you will get the option to register yourself.
- After registration, you have to provide all your asked details.
- After that, you have to upload your documents.
- After successful completion of all steps, your application will be submitted.
- Also, you will receive an acknowledgement copy of your submission. Keep that acknowledgement copy for future use.
Examination Fee:
- SC / ST / Ex-Serviceman / PWDs / Female / Transgender / Minorities / Economically backward class. (The fee for these categories shall be refunded after deducting bank charges as applicable, on appearing in First Stage CBT.): Rs. 250/-
- Others: Rs. 500/-
