No of Posts: 500 Posts
Vacancies for Assam: 22 posts
Scale of Pay: Rs.22405-1305(1)-23710-1425(2)-26560-1605(5)-34585-1855(2)- 38295-2260(3)-45075-2345(2)-49765-2500(5)-62265.
Educational Qualification: Candidate must possess the minimum qualification of Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. Candidate should possess certificate in proof of passing the qualifying examination as on 01.10.2024.
Regional Language Proficiency: Knowledge of Reading, Writing and Speaking of Regional Language of the State / UT against the vacancies for which a candidate wishes to apply, is essential. To ascertain the candidate’s familiarity with the Regional Language of the State / UT, a Regional Language Test will be conducted before final selection. Candidates not found to be proficient in the Regional Language Test would be disqualified.
Age Limit: Candidate age must be between 21 to 30 years as on 1st October 2024. Candidates born not earlier than 02.10.1994 and not later than 01.10.2003 (both days inclusive) are only eligible to apply. Relaxation of age is as per Govt. rule.
Selection Process of NICL Assistant Recruitment 2024
The selection process of Assistant for NICL will be in two phases. The Phase I is the preliminary exam, the candidates who qualify the preliminary exam will be qualify for the main exam. Both exam will be conducted online. The preliminary exam will be of 100 marks where each question will carry 1 mark and the main exam will be of 200 marks and here also questions will carry 1 mark each .
Phase-I(Exam Time: 60 Minutes): Preliminary Examination (Online)
Preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Tests (Multiple Choice type Questions) for 100 marks will be conducted online. This test would be of 60 minutes duration consisting of 3 sections (with separate timings for each section) as follows.
- English Language: 30 Questions, 30 Marks, 20 Minutes.
- Reasoning Ability: 35 Questions, 35 Marks, 20 Minutes.
- Quantitative Aptitude: 35 Questions, 35 Marks, 20 Minutes.
Phase – II(Exam Time: 120 Minutes): Main Examination (Online)
Main Examination will consist of Objective Tests (Multiple Choice type Questions) for 200 marks. The duration of examination would be of 120 minutes duration (separate time for each test / section or composite time) and will consist of 5 sections as follows.
- Test of Reasoning: 40 Questions, 40 Marks, 40 Minutes.
- Test of English Language: 40 Questions, 40 Marks, 40 Minutes.
- Test of Numerical Ability: 40 Questions, 40 Marks, 40 Minutes.
- Test of General Awareness: 40 Questions, 40 Marks, 40 Minutes.
- Test of Computer Knowledge: 40 Questions, 40 Marks, 40 Minutes.
Final selection would be made based on the performance in the online Main Examination & Regional language Test. Merely satisfying the eligibility norms do not entitle a candidate to be called for online examinations & Regional Language Test.
