AIDS Control Society Assam Recruitment Details:
1. Medical Officer
No of Posts: 01
Remuneration: Rs. 72,000 /- per month.
Essential Qualification: MBBS with valid registration from the State Medical Council of Assam/NMC.
Desirable: 6 months of Junior Residency in any clinical branch. Work experience in HIV/AIDS Programme field setting.
Age Limit: Age should not be more than 65 years as on 01/04/2023.
2. Data Manager
No of Posts: 01
Remuneration: Rs. 21,000 /- per month.
Essential Qualification: Graduate in any discipline with Diploma/Certificate in Computer Applications (from a recognized institute or university.
Desirable: Masters in Statistics/Mathematics.
Age Limit: Age should not be more than 60 years as on 01/04/2023.
3. Counsellor
No of Posts: 01
Remuneration: Rs. 21,000 /- per month.
Essential Qualification:
- Graduate degree holder in Psychology/Social Work/Sociology/Anthropology/Human Development/Nursing with 3 years experience in counselling/educating under National Health Programme OR Post -graduate in Psychology/Social Work/Sociology/Anthropology/Human Development/Nursing.
- If candidate is a person living with HIV/AIDS (PLHIV): Graduate degree holder in Psychology /Social Work/ Sociology/ Anthropology/Human Development/Nursing with 1 year experience in counselling/educating under National Health Programme.
Desirable: Experience of working under the National AIDS and STD Control Progammee (NACP) facility or community settings.
Age Limit: Age should not be more than 60 years as on 01/04/2023.

A walk-in interview (written and/ or viva voce) will be conducted to recruit the candidates for aforementioned positions. The applicants should come with all the original testimonials. A standard form of application along with a set of self-attested photocopies of all the original documents and a recent passport size photograph should be submitted before the interview board.
Venue of interview: Opioid Substitution Therapy (OST) Centre at Diphu Medical College & Hospital (DMCH), Diphu, Dist. Karbi Anglong.
