APSC Recruitment Details

1. Research Assistant

No of posts: 25 posts [UR: 16, OBC/ MOBC: 05, SC: 01, STP: 02, STH: 01]

Scale of Pay: Rs. 22, 000/- to 97 ,000/- Grade Pay: Rs. 9,400/-

Educational Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Arts, Science or Commerce from any recognized University with either Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Agricultural Economics, Sociology, Anthropology, Social Anthropology, Social Work, Business Administration, Business Management, Geography or Commerce as one of the subjects. Preference shall be given to Honours Graduates.

2. Inspector of Statistics

No of posts: 04 posts [UR: 01, OBC/ MOBC: 03]

Scale of Pay: Rs. 14,000 /- to 60,500/- GP: Rs. 8,700/-

Name of Department: Directorate of Economics & Statistics under Transformation and Development Department

Educational Qualification: At least second class Master Degree in Economics, Statistics or Mathematics from a recognized University or its equivalent.

Age: The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2023.

• By 5 years for SC/ST candidates, i.e. upto 43 years.
• By 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates i.e. upto 41 years
• Persons with benchmark disability (PwBD) 10 years irrespective of SC/ST/OBC and UR Category of candidates as per Govt.
