SIPRD Assam Recruitment Details
1. Faculty Member
No of Posts: 16 Posts
Disciplines wise Posts Details:
- Agriculture = 3 nos. preferably in Soil Science / Agronomy / Horticulture.
- Economics = 1 no.
- Commerce = 2 nos.
- Information Technology = 2 nos.
- Social Work = 1 no.
- Sociology = 1 no.
- Political Science = 1 no.
- Rural Development = 2 nos.
- Civil Engineering = 2 nos.
- MBA (Finance) = 1 no.
Remuneration: Rs. 40,000/- per month
Essential Qualification: Master Degree [regular course] from recognized university from following disciplines:
- Agriculture preferably in Soil Science / Agronomy / Horticulture.
- Economics
- Commerce
- Information Technology
- Social Work
- Sociology
- Political Science
- Rural Development
- Civil Engineering
- MBA-Finance
Applicants with Ph.D / NET qualified may be given preference.
Experience: Should have training / teaching experience in the core subject in Government Institutions / Private Institutions of repute etc. with minimum period of 2 (two) years..
Placement: The selected Faculty Members may be placed in any of the Extension Centres / District Panchayat Resource Centres throughout Assam and is transferable as per the requirement of the Institute.
Age: Maximum age upto 40 years as on 01-01-2023.
Select Process for SIPRD Faculty Member Recruitment
There shall be two phases in the selection process:
Phase- I: The Candidates whose applications are accepted will be required to appear in an objective type written test to be held in Guwahati.
The syllabus of the Objective Type Written Test will be as follows:

Phase – II: Against each vacancy, 3 candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the marks obtained in the written test. After the written test, the shortlisted candidates will have to appear in a Personal Interview to be held in Guwahati.
Total marks for the Personal Interview will be 20 Marks.
